BTW, those are his four surviving sisters (1952) and the streaks of white in their hair was a fashion trend at the time for ladies of society, according to my cousin who knows such things.

If you watch the I Love Lucy where she models the dress with the sunburn with all the Hollywood wives, to get the Don Loper dress, I think a couple of the Hollywood wives have that same white streak in their hair as well. I loved how they introduced them as Mrs. Dean Martin, or Mrs. Gordon McCrae. As if we would ever introduce celebrities that way now... Mrs. Tom Hanks, Mrs. Kanye West ( hah.).

Allstars just feels so cheap and thrown together. Avante Garde in 10 hours? I just can't. Not to mention the episode running time of 60 minutes.

I am disappointed that they only show an hour of all the stuff they must have filmed. And that was too quick for Avant Garde, I agree.

I thought Jeffrey's DID look like a Lady Gaga costume, though the top looked like a lamp shade. But I like him a lot so I was happy he didn't get eliminated. And I hate Daniel from TX, so his being sent home was FINE.

I like Jeffrey too, Icy. I think he is difficult, a bit unlikeable and strikes me as a person for whom life has kicked around. But I also think he is earnest and has some moments of genius. His bug outfit was not one of those moments though. It probably deserved to get him sent packing, but he defended himself and pushed back at Isaac and I think that saved him. He's on thin ice with the judges now though so he is going to have to step up his game to stay in.

Sums him up perfectly. And it's the antithesis of how he was the first season. I remember brash, swagger similar to Seth Aaron. It's like Jeffery realized that winning PR is not a guarantee to success. I was really shocked when he said he had a kids line now. Not what I remember of the guy with the neck tattoo.

Life wasn't all peachy for him after that win. His wife/girlfriend left him just after he won and so he didn't get the "home with my son" life he was looking forward to. And how great is it to be the PR winner? You probably get some work, but once the prize money is run through you still gotta hustle. After 11 seasons the world is littered with PR winners. I'm just thankful we don't have to hear about that awful Gretchen anymore!

But even during his season, I liked Jeffrey. I thought he caught a raw deal in having Angela's mother in that challenge. Huh, there's another one I'm glad I never have to hear about again. Those flower on the anus pants never did catch on, did they?

Oy. Just watched the first episode of All-Stars.

Jeffrey channeling Panama Jack with a porn stache. Or maybe a bumbling Deputy stache.

I think Elena was on The Next Food Network Star as a blonde. ( lol, wasn't her. Realize her name was Danuska)

And nothing says Punk Rock like Mary Kay cosmetics.

All set to a Debbie Harry musical backdrop. The music wasn't bad, but I kept wondering if Debbie is hurting for money.

Has Alyssa always been that nasally?

I think that is Rose Kennedy, his mother, and his three sisters. The other sister, Rosemary was never in public. Sisters were Eunice (founder of Special Olympics and mother of Maria Shriver), Pat Kennedy Lawford who married Peter Lawford, had a huge alcohol problem, and Jean Kennedy Smith, most recently ambassador to Ireland. Still around and a PITA from what I've heard. I think Jean tipples quite a bit too.

Eunice probably should have been president, but it was not open to women at the time..........and hasn't been yet. Maybe 2016?

I thought the episode was dreadful, very rushed. As far as avant garde, is there anything avant garde anymore? We've seen all this space type stuff since the 1970's with Courreges, Ungaro, etc. I hated Michyal (sp?) dress, it just looked messy. The only dress I liked was the little black dress and of course it wasn't avant garde at all, she just slapped that green bathroom rug from Costco on the back of a lovely black dress.

Shoot, I'd probably tipple a lot as well if I had to deal with the men in that family!
(Oops... I guess I do tipple a lot... what's my excuse? ;) )

I find myself once again hearing what is the challenge, then FF to the runway.

OT... what did you all think of Heidi's Halloween "costume" this year?

I thought Heidi looked fabulous. What a great idea, and she didn't look cartoonish, unlike some other celebs I could mention.

Oh, there was Kathleen Kennedy as well. She died in a plane crash during WWII; she'd married English nobility. So she isn't in that picture............. I think she was quite beautiful as I recall from pics. She had the vaunted Kennedy charm in spades too supposedly. Her family opposed her marriage because he wasn't Catholic; his family opposed it because she was low rent Irish in their opinion.

Oh, another thing, that little twerp Jennifer Meyer. She's married to Toby McGuire and her father is some big deal producer. Her jewelry is nothing special at all, to me it is knockoffs........but it sells at huge prices at Barney's etc.

OMG, weaver. I just Googled Jennifer Meyer's jewelry. It looks like something a middle school girl would design.
