Thanks, Shopper. I really don't care the winner.
I guess this means a new season of Project Runway will be coming up soon.

Well, I was shocked. Even though I shouldn't have been, I looked at certain factors and figured "oh, XX is winning" ... and when XX came in second, my mouth dropped open in shock! I wanted 2nd runner-up to win. :(

I thought the person who came in third was the sure winner, at least as far as season long performance.

I did scan quickly through the final runway though and I think the judges got it right, at least as far as the final runway went.

I wonder if this will be renewed, it was such a yawner. And now they throw in "I need my Resource water" every so often, adding to the product placements of Isaac, QVC, Mary Kay, Mood, the hair stuff, HP (although I don't remember as many plugs for HP this time). It really bugs me.

Has anyone watched the new Tim Gunn show? Under the Gunn, I think it's called.

Spoiler: click to toggle

I just couldn't get interested in the Tim Gunn show. Love him but I'm designed out. I'd rather find something on Netflix to watch.

Ok is anyone 'watching' the Tim Gunn series? I was over it like Weaver so I took some time of and now I"m binge watching it.

I'm on the vampire challenge. I had to chuckle, the Franchesca's Accessory wall? Really Bravo? What is next season going to be sponsored by Charming Charlie's? Seems so cheap. Don't get me wrong, I lost my shit on Friday when they opened the first Charming Charlie's in Charlotte.....but damn, as a runway sponsor?

PS - it's uber weird to watch my DVR episodes from two mos ago. Kinda regret not watching the Kim of Queens or Dancing Dolls shows. Missed my opportunity - sorry Lifetime.

Oh, shoot -- saw this thread was active and thought PR was coming back. No, I saw the first episode of Tim's show and couldn't keep going. Not good, IMO. I guess I missed something, though, huh?

Project Runway is back! Just saw the first episode ON DEMAND. Seems like there's Survivor-type of teaming going on, which is disappointing. And once again, they keep the people who are dramatic and auf the ones who are boring.

I think … something about Char. I wonder if anyone else does. I'll wait until more people see it or post that they have to share my theory ...

Ugh. I watched and just assumed that dip dyed dress was going home so I went to the kitchen and started unloading the dish washer. Boy was I surprised.

Is it worth it to watch it? I guess I can catch epi one on On Demand, and then tape the rest and ff to the runway.

I watched. Unfortunately, I watched Under the Gunn and it's going to take some time to see if any of my Tim Gunn love comes back. Seeing that weasel Mondo at the auditions was almost enough to make me turn it off and run away screaming. I wonder if he ever made himself some long pants? He looked just like the Hamburglar on UTG.

I like Char so far. And, the German guy. It's going to take narrowing the field some before I can remember many of their names. The extremely nervous Asian girl - Angela? better suck it up and grow a thicker skin or the mean girls will eat her alive. I was kind of hoping they'd keep the Muslim woman to see what she'd do. It would have been a nice change from the skin tight, really short stuff that clogs up so much of the runway shows. But, one thing watching this show has taught me is that I am clueless when it comes to high fashion :D

UTG sucked...made me hate all of the mentors except for Nick. Yes he was bossy and gave too much help, but I thought he had a good heart.

You know it! Anya and Mondo were pissy little bitches and it really made me sad to see Tim act the way he did. Nick was the only one that did any mentoring, really, and he's a successful teacher. He was great once he reined himself in. Mondo makes weird, little boy costumes for himself and Anya makes maxi dresses and still knows very little about construction. The only saving grace to that whole shitshow was that Heidi and Neil Patrick Harris were judges for the finale and their input made the right guy win.

On the previews, it shows Sandhya talking to Tim about everyone treating her horrible. Maybe, just maybe, I might feel better if he rakes the creeps over the coals like he should have done on UTG.
