I caught up on PR AllStars. I thought Michelle's dress was the best this week, and Justin's was the worst. It was dreadful. Don't know what Fabio was thinking; he got so caught up with the idea of pink denim that he forgot to make the dress interesting. Anyway, he has talent and they kept him. As for the loser, whose name I forget, I thought the dress was interesting. The previous week they went to London, back and forth in a day I think, for inspiration. Makes no sense to me. Look at pictures of London. The coat that won was fabulous. Edited by weaver, Dec 14 2014, 08:21 AM.

Yeah, I'm caught up, too via the online full episodes. I also thought Michelle's dress was the best, despite the jodhpur sides of the skirt -- since there were see-through, they weren't as awful as they might have been. I was glad that Fabio stayed and not sad to see … who left? Oh, Gunthar? The blonde guy. His hair was better than anything he designed. He should have been off long ago, frankly. Sanjia or whatever her name is was damn lucky her friends told her she wasn't using the right materials. How can you not know if something is a brocade when it's just quilted? |

I don't know anything about fabric, but I agree that designer was very lucky that someone told her about the brocade. I associate brocade with thick, heavy 1950's mother of the bride. Her final outfit didn't scream brocade to me either, but I guess it was brocade. |

Good lord, AM looks like a tick that's about to pop. And her eyebrows are not great. Since I just finished watching the Americans, Dmitri reminds me of the kid who kills his spy parents. Laverne Cox is really pretty. Helen looks like she has gingivitis. Poor Raquel. That skirt and cropped top really gave her a gut. And, on the date, Helen's look was bordering on maternity. She seemed to flatten it down for the runway. The couples were really cute. Don't want to spoil anyone. Not sure that I would have picked that winner. Or that loser. Thought Justin's was good, but liked Dmitri's a little better. Didn't have a problem with the elimination. The swimsuit was awful. |

I thought the jumpsuit was great, though. And since Michelle got by with just one great piece, I think the other designer should have been okay, too. They said the fit was bad on the jumpsuit. I cannot tell. The color reminded me of Tiffany boxes. |

Wow. Color me surprised, please, because Helen's dress was so bad I was shocked. Shapeless, those damn ruffles, almost no color … what did they like? And Michelle's -- I like her but that was the most awful color combination EVER. LIME green and BURGANDY? Time can never dull the pain. I didn't like the shoulders on Justin's dress, and the center of the front and back reminded me of the chest from Aliens when the creature broke through, but his was so much more creative than Helen's. I think she got the pass because she went in the tank. And what was her incentive? Why didn't she get an extra $50? That was poorly conceived. I didn't think Fabio's design was well presented -- there were creases and it looked sloppy -- the backwards idea didn't work as well as it might have, I think because the pants were backwards. I remember someone, Celine Dion, maybe? wearing a backwards tuxedo to the Oscars years ago, in white. THAT was hot. I did not think Dmitry's design was the best, hated the untreated edges of his shapes and I thought it was a boring shape overall, but I knew he was winning when they featured his non-winning status over and over and Zanna had that non-warning-warning talk with him. Seriously, that was a stupid moment of scripted dialogue. Certainly the Russian would never translate that sort of English-speaking nonsense! |

Yeah, Icy I was baffled at this week's judge's comments. I know this was supposed to be avant grade, but the burgundy lipstick that was askew made the model look like she'd had a stroke. |

I feel like every week there's no one who has anything pretty anymore. These are all stars, but geez, they none of them have taste! I still like Fabio and Michelle the most. |

I guess I think Dimitri's clothes are the best, but really, neoprene for a QVC customer? I don't think so. This week I could not get interested, except my eyes kept going to the spidery net type thing covering Alyssa M's arms. I liked the winner's QVC outfit this week. I was also fascinated by the closeups on Lisa Robertson. I only see her from afar on my TV, but wow has she had work done. She used to be so pretty. |

I missed two weeks but I watched last night's. They dragged it on and on. I guess I was happy with the result. The dress really wasn't red carpet at all. Dimitri's was really good, but he had the advantage of the model's skin color I think. It really complemented the dress. Do they know what model they are getting in advance? It was one of the problem's with Michelle's IMO. If I were a designer and wanted to try different things, and knew that different styles and designs were coming in the future, why would i tie myself down with permanent tattoos up and down my arms and chest? I don't wear the same earrings every day, and I'm not a designer. I guess they have the finale during the real fashion week which is next week. Or was it filmed in September? |

I could have done without Helen sobbing in the middle of the final challenge. But I guess she's young and emotional. Hate the baby voice, too. Yeah, weaver. I agree. I'm sure the tattoos seemed like a great idea at the time. |

She is young, and she looked exhausted, so I gave her a pass, reluctantly. Edited by weaver, Feb 7 2015, 07:21 AM.

I gave her a pass until she said in her TH "I got the third spot, so I'm okay with it now" -- what? I didn't like the additional challenge, no matter how tired they were or not, it was just too much. Helen's dress obviously blew, wasn't even close to as good as Michelle's, but for some reason they wanted Helen in the top three. I think maybe someone wants to give it to Dymitry, so they didn't want good competition against him. He's done very well this season, but there have been times when I've hated his stuff and he's sailed through. I also HATED that gold dress Sanjia designed. It was terrible. When it walked out, I gasped and said "oh, yuck!" So imagine my shock when all the judges LOVED it. Again, what? I'm not even interested in the finale now. Helen had to have spent a lot of time getting those tats. So she knew and she's okay with them. I know people who have tats all over an arm or two and on their legs - they only stop when they run out of room and hopefully they don't want them on their faces. I think it's sad and not attractive, but fortunately, I'm not forced to get one. What I hate about Helen is her greasy hair and those awful nails. |
