Heidi was on Kelly this morning, and according to her, two contestants left the show. Heidi said they just packed up in the middle of the night and left.
Yep, they really could use a good season. But they still got nominated for an Emmy.

I didn't see the casting special, but I watched the episode twice (came in half way through the first showing and I wanted to see the beginning to see what they were thinking when they created their design.
So far I LOVED the bustier top designed by the Budha like guy and of course there will be the cat fight between two of the gay designers. I'm cheering for the 58 year old professor.

I enjoyed the first episode, too.

If you know you're going on Project Runway, why don't some of these designers take a sewing course?

Exactly! "Sewing is hard"... d'oh....
I have lots of great ideas for clothing but that doesn't make me a designer. I really wish I had paid attention in Home Ec.
I love that the guest judge ( whatever Fields) said that the one designer was more of a stylist and not a designer.

And Toddlers and Tiaras is back on! I'll see you over there, andme!

Ack! What would I do without you guys. I didn't even know this started up again. And Heidi, Tim and the gang are all back! I'm going to have to catch a repeat this week and set up a series recording.

Ok, so JCPenny's headquarters are here in Plano Texas (also the headquarters of Cinemark Theaters, as well...) and they announced yesterday or the day before that Nina is being hired by JCPenny as an in house fashion advisor, or whatever. I was cooking, so I only heard it as background noise, but when I heard her name I started in repeating it as Heidi says it: "Nina Gah-see-ya". Mr. Disco thought I was a little nuts. So last night I rewound the show to show him Nina's dress in Times Square (which I loved!) so he would know which one was Nina, and which dress to buy me when we win the lottery. ;)

LOL...I love how Heidi says that!

Saw a picture of Seal in the park not looking too fabulous.....I can't believe he was the one who cheated!

He cheated? He's always looked ugly...even if he didn't have the facial scars. Never understood it, but then again I don't understand any couple that has kids every year. Celebs or no.

Heidi looked terrible in her green dress. You could see her belly button.

Has Patricia Field always sounded like that?

The Gilmore girl - she may be a fan of the show, but added zero to the panel discussion. Why was she on.

Ven (Buddha looking guy) is my fav, but doubt he's too long for the world. I can already see them going down the - you are a tailor not a designer route. Also don't think he's going to be edgy enough.

I have zero design to see what the teletubby designer is going to do next. He can take his snaggle teeth and go set down.

The gay guy who went home last year - it was bugging the shit out of me that his neck was so hairy. I love love love a man in a beard, but the neck hair..nope.

This show has a lot to do to get back in my good graces after the Anya cluster fuck.

Color me surprised that they actually got rid of the right person. I have a blanket I keep in the back of my car for emergencies that looks lot like her 'cape.'

I liked Ven's pink flower blouse, but I think he's this season's Rami. All about the tailoring and the look, but a lack of range and inspiration. I wasn't surprised he didn't win, because it was obvious he should. Same with the loser, the girl who was sent home was actually the one who got the second worst comments that we heard. Miss rectangle on the chest got the worst comments from the judges. I skipped a few seasons because of the difficulty I have with watching anything but Bravo, but I still can figure out the winner and the loser most of the time.

However, I was very surprised the Japanese guy was in the bottom three. I floved his jumper -- that gray thing with turquoise circles and pink hardware straps? I would so wear that if I was skinny and young enough. Seriously. I want to time travel back to my youth so I can put that on and shock people. Loved loved loved it. Not HIM too much, but he didn't annoy me as much as he seemed to annoy the judges.

I just read a mystery that featured a bunch of freegans, so that whole thing wasn't unfamiliar to me. I still think it's sort of gross -- but I don't have to do it myself, so whatev.

I liked the stuff from the 58 year old fashion class teacher. She won't last.

Dueling gay guys? I won't know who is who ever, I'm sure. They're too similar and even their voices sound alike. Eh, who knows ... one could emerge -- we'll se.

BTW: who won the last all stars version? Mondo?

PROJECT RUNWAY is available ON DEMAND here, so check your local service for that, Cosmo, and you can catch up!

Icy you'd rock that jumper? I wanted to know where the hell he found hot pink plastic buckles that huge. They sure as hell aren't hanging around the notions section of Michael's.

Rami was draping - everything he did was Grecian inspired with an empire waist...I didn't think they called him a 'tailor' did they? I remember them calling Korto and the first winner...the Asian girl...ah, Chloe Dao a tailor. They've lobed that 'insult' to others too. Rami was all about the draping which to me, is opposite of tailoring. I think of tailoring as structured pants and jackets (the also seem to not like separates designers though Chloe did end up winning).

The right person went home. That dress and Aztec shawl were deadly dull. What exactly is knitwear, and how is it different from non-knitwear. Does it take a different kind of designer?

Loved the pink top and pink dress done by the the guy from Guyana (I think). And NO it isn't too old, everything doesn't have to be young and trendy and short and vulgar. There is still room for classic design, see Carolina Herrera, Oscar, etc. Timeless stuff.

I don't want to hear the Japanese man's routine, whatever it might be, nor the over the top gay snide remarks. Just design the clothes.

I got the impression the older woman went home.

UK did a documentary on freegans. Sort of interesting, but they were all full of themselves and their self righteousness.

That can be said about any extreme movement - vegetarians, vegans etc

Knits are hardest to sew - and I found it hysterical that the knitwear designer was the first to say she wasn't that great of a sewer.

Some of those dresses were beautiful...and I died when they were making fun of the pasta dress.
