She may end up financially fine by any standards except her own. Maintaining Hamptons house and Manhattan co op, dining in best places, buying shiny $1k dresses from David Meister , that's a heavy monthly nut. Lulu downsized, kelly downsized.......

It's the religious doo dads that bring in the dough. I wonder if he makes Wiccan stuff?

It was my impression that Ramona was independently wealthy before she married Mario -- and they didn't marry until she was 30 and already had a house in the Hamptons, so I don't know why I would worry about her needing anything from Mario, besides child support ... which would be over since Avery is over 18.

I thought Mario and Ramona bought the Hamptons house together after they were married?

I think her "fortune" might be another housewife myth.

I think Ramona always had her own money but during the 17+ years she's been with Mario I'm sure their fortunes grew exponentially - as the more money you have the more you can make etc. So she should get at least half of whatever money they made during the marriage. I'm fairly certain they bought the house in the Hamptons during their marriage and of course that huge apartment too.

Personally, I'd like to see Mario left penniless but that's not going to happen.

Lol, penniless LoveRat would be awesome. Wonder how many chicks he could pick up broke? With his not-so-charming personality and dead tooth.

I thought the majority of his business was actually trophies? All kinds of trophies, for every sport, every level from your local bowling team and little league to super nice ones for Fancy golf and tennis places, and league teams in other sports? The religious icon jewelry as well of course, but I thought they just talked about that side of it more since Ramoner was going to start her own jewelry line, so it fit.

Yeah, they bought after they married. I'm sure Ramona did well in her reselling business, but I sure doubt she could maintain the current lifestyle on that money. That's why I say wealthy by any standards except her own.

I'm betting they don't divorce.

From Realestalker:
Property records show the intensely competitive couple, who make mounds of money selling religious doo-dads and gew-gaws to the faithful, purchased their so-called "Mediterranean Villa" on Pheasant Close South back in November of 1995 for $875,000. Records on file with Suffolk County show the house measures 5,280 square feet with 4 bedrooms and 4 bathrooms while listing information states the house measures 7,000 square feet and contains 6 bedrooms and 6 bathrooms.

Yeah, it is, but is Ramona going to want to sell?

It is rented for this summer.

Okay, maybe Ramona owned another home in the Hamptons that they sold and used the price as equity for the new one? I distinctly recall hearing she already had a home out there before hooking up with Mario. I don't know how to find out, though.

Wasn't she Ramona Mazur? (Or something like that?) There should be records, but I'm too lazy at the moment to look.

ETA: One should proof read before hitting the post button, especially when typing around a cat.

Found this quote in an article about renting their current Hamptons home.

Quote:

This is the home I never had growing up, the first home I ever owned -- my heart and soul," Singer told Newsday last year, adding, "My backyard is magical. There are seagulls and swans on the water and unbelievable English gardens. I feel like I'm in a slice of paradise."
