I'm making my way through the blogs, and I was so sleepy last night that I only watched the show with partial attention, so can someone tell me what the last paragraph is about, or WHO? I included the rest for context. Heather's blog.

A talking intervention? I think a Gossip Girls intervention may be more in line. LOL! I definitely get it! I talk a lot! We all have our moments and its silly stuff.

I am proud and blessed to have an amazing assistant who helps me navigate an extremely hectic schedule and thanks to Shawna, I am able to keep a lot of balls in the air.

She manages my calendar, scheduling appointments, changing appointments, and yes, confirming appointments. And she does a hell of a good job at it. For a writer, this time Carole wasn't very observant of the written word -- because in Shawna's confirmation message, she introduced herself at the beginning, and her title, Executive Assistant to Heather Thomson, is clearly written in the signature of her emails. If I don't include Shawna on my calendar, I end up double booked, and it messes things all up.

It was actually funny, to see that moment, knowing all too well who at that table does not go into an office daily, or work at all, who has several nannies, and who has hired assistants/interns since that lunch. . .not to mention what they have those assistants doing. Hee hee hee. But, as my mom always says, don't judge another until you've walked a mile in their shoes.

Beats me...Carole, maybe?

How thrilled is Sonja's assistant that she calls her by her last name "Millsaps"?

Well the lunch was Ramona, Carole and Aviva so my guesses are:

does not go into an office daily: Ramona

or work at all, who has several nannies: Aviva

who has hired assistants/interns since that lunch. . .not to mention what they have those assistants doing: Carole (I wonder what Heather is trying to say she has the assistants doing?)

Aviva? Luanne. Carole has no kid's. Sounds bitchy to me and as if she was hired to play this part or else honestly I think I really dislike her. She is nasty.

I think her point was that she works full time and has children and now the HoWife show and so if she doesn't run all plans through her assistant her calendar gets all jacked up. Not being a busy HoWive like Holla Back Girl and her new friends, I am my own assistant but I think if I had one I would at least reply to emails saying "I would love to go if I'm not already booked for something else. Let me have my assistant look into it and one of us will get back to you. Thanks for the invite!" Especially since at that point, the HoWives were really just her new coworkers, not her friends and so in her mind, this was all work related. But she can't say that on the show.

Actually I think Heather was trying to say that Carole has now hired an assistant who she has handling her schedule. Although in that whole conversation, Carole didn't seem to care one way or the other if the assistant was the one who sent it out, it sounded more like she saw the assistant's name, thought WTF is that? and deleted it without realizing it was HoWife related.

Don't tell me Heather works? "I WORK!" She should meet Vicki.

Ramona works, a lot. But I think as the seasons have gone on, she is probably going into the office a lot less than she used to. I think her HW job and the pinot gigs are keeping her away from the rag trade.

I looked up Heather's company and she has 20+ employees. So she works. Does hubby work in the company also?

Doubt if Ramona's schmatta resale business takes up 40 hours a week. Remember when Ramona was interviewing assistants and they were either too fat or had bad skin or didn't dress correctly?

I think you're right about Ramona's resale business.

20 employees is pretty impressive. I wasn't trying to give the impression that Heather doesn't work, I am just wondering if it is going to be a theme like Cindy and the Vickster.

So is Holla doing this for exposure for her company or is she a fame whore too?

Good question. I was thinking how much I loathe new people who join the cast claiming "no, I never watched the show" ... I want to know what Holla's answer to that question would be, because if she says that, I'd wanna slam her for making a BAD BUSINESS DECISION. Jump into something without research? And if she did watch, then she preformed her opinion about Ramona, I'll bet.

Probably both, but it's very risky. They all think they can control how they appear and they can't.

It's really not bad money, and it's for a short time, AND they can promote stuff. I think the Economy hit a lot of people, especially in property and the stock market. Her stuff is nice, but not a needed commodity.

People have less money to spend, and if they like shapewear, they probably already have enough to do the job. Most are busy trying to survive, food, housing, utilities, autos, clothing, but "shapewear" is pretty far down most people's lists these days. So, a boost in income might be welcome.

I was wondering if she knew Andy and he brought her on because (1) 1st thing she does is go toe to toe with Ramona (she wasn't worried about pissing off a veteran wife and kind of acted like she had carte blanche to do it) and (2) by bringing on the shapewear lady, he needles Jill a little.

Maybe she only wants to last a year, pump up her business a little. Cindy almost did that, but she was too angry. Holla is very laid-back about her horribleness.

Nah. I think Andy just likes ladies underwear.

Seriously, though - that's an interesting theory about bringing Heather in just to go toe to toe with Ramona. They probably interview these women ad nauseum just to find the right mix. They're trying like hell to avoid more Cindys, Quinns and whatzername from OC with the 25K sunglasses. So what better way to avoid that than to bring in wives who aren't afraid to take the gloves off.

Works for me. To a point. I don't mind confrontation but when it turns into reunion-style shrieking, I'm out.
