Yes, they still use headshots with a variety of poses for models, but also I have actor friends in LA who use that kind. Mostly the ones who are trying to get ANYTHING -- those are useful for commercial work, I think. I never had a multiple layout, only changed my main headshot every year or two.

There is another photo on the site that looks good too, and a good one of Aviva as well.

Skinny when professionally photographed in good light can look good, even without any retouching. In person or in motion is often quite different.

I haven't run into that many models as you New Yorkers, but I did used to photograph actors, the up and coming kind that needed head shots with the four smaller shots on the back showing more versatility. (Do they still do those sheets to hand out?) This was back before digital photography, let alone photoshop! Anyway, some people just look amazing in person, it's almost an inner radiance, but that doesn't mean they will photograph well. Others might look pasty or much too thin in real life, but the camera just adores them.

I remember being pretty shocked when I ran into a couple of "real" print models in person, because they honestly did not look good, but I could see how the camera would adore them.
They don't that too often anymore unless you are full modeling as well. Usually at most 2 - one that is smiley/happy and one serious or just nothing so to speak. Even those modeling cards are rarely asked for anymore bc of the internet - oh comp cards they are called. Waste of money for most. Interesting though. Bad agents will have you make up too many photos which aren't needed bc they push you thru their photographers and get a cut. It's still an evil business. If you don't look like your photograph though you can get blacklisted. CDs despise that. You need to walk in looking somewhat at least like your photograph.

I totally gotcha there about not looking like your photo. I saw many famous models w.o any make up and it always made me feel better. Years ago when JDepp was dating Kate Moss they were at this French Care in the village. I barely recognized her. She was out after the night out. My guy friend (not bf) was with me and he's like don't ya know who that is and I'm like NO. He's splained. At the same place we saw that gorgeous one that used to be with Rod Stewart. She looked that good just like Christie B does

One of the tabs (Life and Style, I think? They all kind of run together when I read them at B&N) had an article about Ramona/Mario. Ramona is caving and letting Mario back, while Mario at the same time is still with the young 'un. And apparently she might be pregnant again and has said she won't have another abortion.

Asexual? Postmenopausal lack of interest?

Anyhoo, what about publicity stunt? No intention ever of getting divorce. Just preseason publicity. Open marriage?

I could buy the open marriage, but if she's also having sex with him, he needs a rubber.

Public humiliation is not in the cards. I can't see Ramona sucking that up. Again. will she?

She shouldn't. She has spouted off enough about women needing to be able to take care of themselves financially and without a man. It's time to put words to action Ramona!

Hmmm, the publicity stunt is an interesting idea. Here's another one: Maybe Ramona holds all the money. It happens, sometimes LoveRats put everything in their wife's name for whatever reason. And maybe she really loves him (which would be disappointing since I always thought of Ramona as truly independent) and he has to stay. On the other hand, if she really controlled the money I'd like to think she would kick him to the curb and have some Turtle Time.

I do feel bad for her though, even though I hate feeling bad for a ho-wife. Whatever's going on one thing for sure is Mario is a slut-pig.

I can't either Finestra. I hate that it looks like that's what's happening.

I don't get any gay vibes from Ramona. Sometimes she strikes me as someone who has developed defenses because of some shit in her childhood, and given what we've heard about that -- and what her brother is currently doing to her -- I think that's probably accurately what she feels: defensive, having to prove herself, but basically wanting to be a fun-loving girl and attentive mother.

And she was sort of assholish and pissy about Luann's marriage 'arrangement'. Lots of people have them; and she's almost 60 (seriously!) I wouldn't want it- but I know so many people who do. I told you guys how, after John died, I got so many women confessing to me about how much they hated their Husbands' but they needed their paychecks? or didn't want to divide up their houses? I think it was supposed to make me feel better...

Ramona has really talked the talk- and now on WWHL she looked deer in the headlights and wouldn't really discuss it. And now she's taking him back? Disappointing. Must give (crazy) stoopidhousewives.com credit- she's been saying it was a farce since the beginning, but I didn't believe it, especially once Ramona actually filed for divorce...

Ranjake I think you hit the nail on the head.

Some don't want to give up a lifestyle. But for some, the economy tanked and life got really hard and you have two or three little kids and being a receptionist just doesn't pay the rent. I know someone who actually did leave and ended up going back to a bad situation - kind of like Mario only he wasn't cheating- with women - because of money. He didn't make a lot either.

I think Ramona doesn't want to give up the lifestyle if she stays. She already gave up the rag resale trade - she admitted it during the Bravo live-tweet session. True Faith and TrU rEnEwAl maybe don't bring in that much at all. He might not want to split any properties. Maybe Avery wants them together - they both seem to love her.

BTW - he needs teeth whitening. What is it with these rich guys and ugly teefus.

I think Carole's publicist got to her and said, "Put down the iPhone." She was like a loon on Twitter - she was all over Aviva's tweets like white rice (tm Ramona). It was crazy. Now SILENCE. It was almost like Carole became as unhinged as Aviva.
