I'm started into Carole's new book and it's pretty darn good. It's the kind of book you read all at once, if you have the time, at the beach or by the pool in the summer. Well, perhaps a bit more elevated than that, because it's smart. But for all that I'm enjoying it, I have been able to pass it up to go to bed or work on the computer or watch TV. So again: if you're by the pool or at the beach and CAN'T watch TV or go on the computer, you could read it straight through. Oh, one interesting thing, the main character sounds like Carole with one difference: she's a size FOUR. So ... you know, in Carole's world? Overweight. ;)

I guess Carole wanted to make her relatable. A size 4. sheesh.

Years ago a size 4 was skinny until they changed all the sizes to 0-2 - there was no such thing in the 80s

Yes, but she just wrote this book -- when she was a double zero. Maybe in her head she's a size four. She certainly doesn't buy baggy clothes. She thickens by adding layers.

I thicken by adding pasta. And chocolate. And cookies....lots and lots of cookies. It is a very effective method.

Hahaha dilbert. I thought the same thing. I thicken up with layers too - but they are tough to take off.

Girl Scout Cookies are very effective and delicious way to thicken up quickly.

Andy posted that Aviva was his guest tonight on WWHL -- as of a few minutes ago 181 comments and 140 of them specifically mention hating Aviva and a majority of those state they won't watch the show with her on it. (WWHL, that is.)

Ha! Good. Of course I will still watch, lol.

Here's what I think happened; Bravo or Aviva or someone on her behalf emailed this Becky woman and asked if Aviva could bring a film crew out to her farm and the geneses of all Aviva's crazy. Maybe they sent a check too? So the kind Becky said okay and off Aviva went with the ever-flanneled Reid and his laptop. The whole email conversation was made up. Becky seemed baffled as to why Aviva was even there and why she would want to go visit the barn etc. and how that could be a good idea.

Sigh. I don't even know what to write any longer. It's the same broken record with Vivvy. I'm bored of it and you must be, too. She defamed me, now she says she's going to defame Heather. She'll probably start passing poison apples out soon.

Reid is pitching in now, ganging up on me in the Drescher slander/smear campaign, and he's also implicating Simon & Schuster. I’m surprised he would engage in this at all, I'd think he would know better. I expect Reid to understand the nuance of business relationships and slander. Imagine if I went on the show and told Ramona or Kristen that word on the street is Reid’s client’s are suing him for misappropriation of funds, or that word on the street is the SEC is investigating his business practices. Hey you guys, there’s a lot of gossip going around. There are a whole bunch of words, on lots of streets! I would think Reid would understand the implications of what he is saying, even if his wife is clueless. But no.

You go, Carole! I love how she just puts that out there about Reid, since there have been rumors that he's been investigated.

Carole lost me with all the nicknames for Aviva in her recent blog. Would have been much more effective without all that middle school name nonsense. Sometimes you just have to be the bigger person; ultimately you will end up looking better that way.

I think Carole must be paid by the tweet, because she had been tweeting up a storm.

I agree, dil. She's giving Aviva exactly what she wants - attention.

Everyone is already on Carole's side. I think her blog comes across as kind of childish and sad.
