Maybe Ramona is looking at Sonja and thinking the dating pool really shrinks when you are a woman of a certain age. OR, and I find this sort of more likely, maybe she doesn't want to let that bitch win.

Honestly, they both look red eyed in that photo, either crying or drunk, but you can see the stress.

I had the idea Ramona was kind of a prude, mostly a missionary position type. Where did that come from? Probably sex discussions or reactions with the other wives. Even if they had an arrangement though, it would seem that Mario broke the rules. First, having her in their home, and second, not being discreet about it. She really doesn't seem like the type to have an open marriage, although I could easily see her not divorcing him for the occasional dalliance.

This woman though has taken it to a whole new level for her I think. I don't think declaring war on Ramona was the way to win (the letter, the sex in her homes) but who knows? I have a feeling Ramona will take him back, keep a sharp eye on finances, take him for everything she can, keep an eye out for a new man, and if she finds one, dump him on his ass, if not, maybe just lay down the law about that particular woman and carry on.

I feel for her though, the public humiliation and embarrassment must be tough to handle. Then again, she is tough.

I think it's this. And I think the tweeted photo above was her response to the letter which came out the morning of that tweet which came out later that night. I think the tweet was a fuck you bitch. Now Ramona might divorce him down the road, but she isn't handing him over right now.

I think she may get the finances in a row first. She has a great life with him - Italy every summer plus a great trip somewhere else, a home in the Hamptons and a great apartment in the city. Aspen and a warm weather trip every winter. She needs to figure out how to keep that going. Plus Avery. I think Sonja is a huge red flag for her. Plus she probably does love him. He is as big a jerk as she is. Really who is going to put up with Ramona? I don't think she wants to be alone.

Me, I could never get over the cheating. It's the scorpio in me. I would be seething. I would make his life a living hell. She'll probably do that too. I don't think he wants to lose the company or look like the bad guy in Avery's eyes, or else, why wouldn't he have left Ramona by now?

The best response, and Carole take note, is to ignore the crazy. Do not engage.

Mario and Ramona look either drunk-ish or like they just cried. My bet is drunk-ish.
Could be drinking and allergies - I look like that these days.

Oddly - the big time Catholic - Mario - cheats on his wife. So religious. Listen I am the opposite of religious but I would think with his business he would keep things under the radar since religious jewelry is his bread and butter - however butt ugly it is. Maybe he doesn't consider from behind sex or going down. Okay I'm being gross enough but he's gross.

Mario's company is a family business; he isn't the only owner. True Faith is some sort of subsidiary.

About Classic Medallics

Classic Medallics Inc. is a third generation family business spanning over 60 years of product leadership in manufacturing a wide variety of awards and gifts.

Started in 1940 as a manufacturer of religious jewelry under the name of Frederick Singer & Sons. The company soon after became a dominant player in the religious gift industry.

In the late 1950's, the Singer family saw a golden opportunity to bring it's manufacturing and design experience to the rapidly growing awards industry, which at that time was just beginning to adopt production methods to mass-produce awards. Classic Medallics quickly became one of the leaders and innovators in developing a wide variety of quality metallic products, mass-produced at affordable prices.

To this day, our hand craftsman and designers continue to produce numerous stock and custom products. To name a few, medallions, medals, coins, key chains, jewelry, pins, plaques, trophies, ribbons, figures, pen sets, and clocks.

In order to produce this variety of products we employ several manufacturing processes, including die striking, die casting, centrifugal casting, electroplating, etching, enameling, silk screening, multiple color printing, and wood working. The metals we work with include brass, bronze, copper, aluminum, zinc, pewter, silver and gold. The wood products are made from walnut, oak, ash, rosewood and simulated wood finishes.

Classic Medallics, Inc.
520 South Fulton Ave
Mount Vernon, NY 10550

For all of Ramoner's babbling about independence, no way could she afford the lifestyle on her income without the goldmine overpricing of these cheap trinkets. I think think the lifestyle is very important to her, moreso than Mario's cheating. Trouble is, this Kasey seems like a bunnyboiler, she may not go away. Mario looks thin and drained in that picture.

I wonder what's really going on but good for Ramona.

Funny that Singer is usually a Jewish last name. I wonder if there is a mixed marriage way back when.

Alright, now we have to talk about something very important: We need to talk about Sonja Tremont Morgan of the Massapequa Morgans. She is coming unraveled. Personally I could spend the next 86 hours watching Sonja burn her opulence candle at both ends in an attempt to find the fun and the strength through this whole ordeal. I’d watch her scrub her own toilet and bidet with a giant unicorn hair curler hovering over her brow. I’d watch her kick around the loose laundry that litters the floor of her bedroom, looking for the cordless phone that she hears ringing in her head. I’d watch her try to coordinate the 19 disparate business ideas in her head. I really would. But part of what makes it amusing is that it is so futile, that it is a little bit Blanche DuBois, but without the menace of violence.

What it comes down to is this: Sonja is having some money troubles and doesn’t know how to fix them. In classic Sonja fashion, she just flits her wrist and exhales sharply and hopes that she can scare it away like a common housefly. But like the fly, it keeps coming back and you just have to flit it and flit it and flit it over and over again as it buzzes around you, annoying you more because you’re trying to scare it away and it won’t leave.

Initially, Ramona gossiping about Sonja’s woes to the other Housewives seems nothing short of malicious, just getting the news of her impending real-estate disaster so that everyone can know. (The show is always short on details, but here is an article that explains the most salient points. http://blogs.findlaw.com/celebrity_justice/2011/05/real-housewives-sonja-morgan-must-pay-7m-court-rules.html ) But later we see that Ramona really is concerned about her “sister.” That Ramona went over to her house to talk it out was touching. Ramona, though as ridiculous as wearing a bikini to a Christmas party, is a pragmatist. She is not afraid, as Sonja claims, but she is realistic, and she wants to guide her good friend in the right direction. That should be commended. And when Sonja asks her to back down, she does. Ramona has done her due diligence.

(more at link)

I can't decide if Sonja is more Blanche or Little Edie, either way, it's not good.

RHONY' Alum Kelly Bensimon Is Returning to the Show
by Ericka Sóuter 1 hour ago
Posted Image

kelly bensimonBeing crazy never gets old in Real Housewives land. So it isn't much of a surprise that Bravo producers are bringing back one of the nuttiest women in the show's history. Kelly Bensimon will be returning to The Real Housewives of New York this season -- and she gives a hint to the kind of drama she's gonna bring.

You may recall the epic feud between Kelly and another alum Bethenny Frankel. They hated each other during their time on the show, and years later, the beef continues. Bethenny bad-mouthed her during a September 10 appearance on Andy Cohen's Watch What Happens Live. When asked if Kelly would appear on her talk show, Bethenny made a nasty quip. "At this point, four years later, it's time for her to move on. We had a brief working relationship," Bensimon told Us Weekly. "I am tired of her attacking my reputation and defaming me whenever she can. It's time to move on ... I can't be hired to work and then have people four years later attacking me for no reason. This is NOT a joke anymore."
Well, looks like she's a glutton for punishment. If she thinks Bethenny is bad, she won't be able to stand the new nest of vipers. She says that LuAnn de Lesseps asked her to appear with her during a fashion show that would be filmed. It would be a big surprise for the ladies. Things apparently went well and Kelly really hit it off with Carole Radziwill. In fact, Kelly is going to set her up with some prospective hot dates. That should make for some interesting show material.

But the real question is would she come back to the show full-time? "The only way that I would actually ever consider coming back is if I could actually show my real life and be able to celebrate who I am, versus being in a scene with women I don’t know," she told Wet Paint. Ha! She's clearly still living in a dream world. She should know by now that the only "reality" they want to depict is well-crafted, over-the-top drama.

Mariah, thanks for the Vulture recap and link. I agree with the writer about both Sonja and Ramona. Or should I say, Ramonja?

As far as Crazy Kelly, I can take her or leave her. I never thought she added much to the show except kind of freaking out Ramona on Scary Island. That was no act either, I don't care what she says.

You know, I don't have a problem with Ramona trying to talk to Sonja about her money issues or trying to get her to see reality. But she really shouldn't have done that on camera.
