Plus, how many times is a rich "true aristocrat" going to purpose to Lulu! Whatever reason she married him, she clearly got something out of it (two good kids, chance to be part of that set, etc.) or she wouldn't have stayed. |

Did someone post that Avery changed colleges? Any indication why? |

Where did Avery start out at? UVA is a great school. Perhaps she was waitlisted and it was her first choice. |

She started at Emory which is a great school too. UVA is tricky with the rankings. Super hard to get into from out of state, but the in-state requirements may bring the average SAT/ACTs down a little so it drops a little in the rankings I think. ETA - Emory is tied at 20 with Georgetown and UC Berkeley. UVA is right below at 23 in a 4 way tie. So they are basically the same. But Emory is a much more southern school. Back in my day, they had a "northern" dorm for freshman girls where most of the jewish girls ended up. My jewish girlfriend (TM Teresa Giudice) went there and somehow ended up in the blonde southern debutante (cotillion!) dorm and felt like such a duck out of water! Meanwhile - I hope she's happy - Maybe she wants a fresh start - it may have been very embarrassing for her when the shit hit the fan with Mario the love rat. The only one on RHofNYC who needs to feel embarrassed about her parent is Aviva, because she seems to not only condone but promote her father's behavior. I am sure Avery is all right at college. Most probably have never heard of the show, and those who have within her circle of friends hopefully know better enough than to bring it up or hold it against. I thank G-d daily that I wasn't held in account for my parent's behavior! Now a days, many of the kids probably come from homes with similar situations, philandering fathers and batshit crazy mothers, they are just fortunate enough that it didn't make the tabloids. |

Heather is on a rerun of Steve Havey show today showing off her YT. The funniest part so far was that she showed and outfit and nobody clapped so she actually said "you can clap for this" I found it so odd. Anyway, for those of you on the west coast I assume you can catch her in an hour or 2. Don't know when they they show the show out there. Showing workout clothes for everyday wear was the theme. |

I agree dilbert, except I think everyone's heard of the Housewives - but to college girls it's probably a show their mothers watch. Hell, I know people that never watch TV and still know about the Real Ho-wives. And Avery's good girlfriends all know Ramona - so no news there. |

Ally spent one year at Sarah Lawrence and then transferred to Vanderbilt where she seems to have thrived. Maybe Emory just wasn't a good fit. Kadooz to her for getting out.

Mia Farrow just posted that one year of tuition at Sarah Lawrence is $65,000. I was shocked. |

I know a lot of colleges are close to 60, but 65? It has to be one of the highest. Even those universities with huge endowments still have high tuition. It's so crazy. In my next life, I am going to be smart enough to teach at a good college so my kids can go there for free or just marry really well like Jill Z so that money isn't an issue! :) |
