I think Sonja will be resigned. I think Andy adores her because she is a wacky trip to hang around. I think he treats her like a pet. I do think she is self medicating, and it is not working. I think she is doing it to stay thing because of menopause. And I think she drinks, and it is making her irrational at times. I feel sorry for her at times, but then she pulls a bitch mood, and I don't feel so sorry for her. I do like her on the show though. I think she adds a lot of fun snark mostly.

I hope they resign everyone except Aviva. Blech.

Another thing she posted on Facebook was that her yacht was voted "most chartable." I guess she meant best yacht to charter, but I thought it was pretty pathetic. She's living in the past. I do hope she is back though.

I wouldn't mind if she came back either, weaver. As long as her storyline doesn't revolve around a faux romance with Harry.

Bring on more wacky toaster oven footage!

I'm torn about bringing Sonja back, and for a kind of odd reason.

I think she is completely humiliating herself. There IS a reason for the "Edie's" comparison. The delusions of grandeur, sex appeal, and looks, the grasping of the glories of the past, the run down house, the warped metaphysical bent is just so pitiful.

I don't enjoy pitying someone, it's somehow disrespectful to me. Sympathy is very different from pity, and she's crossed that line for me. She's so disconnected from any kind of reality, and her bitter and nasty side is coming out, in spite of her proclamations of positive thinking and thinking she's a special little snowflake that can manifest wealth by thinking it into being because she's above it all.

The reality:
1. She has no empire or "businesses," or paid employees.
2. She snagged her very, very wealthy, very very old husband because she set herself up to do that when she was relatively young and fresh and sexually free.
3. She's already past her "sell-by" date for those rare men. They will choose someone younger, fresher, and someone who hasn't humiliated themselves on a low life show like RHNY. Those men don't want someone who brags about not wearing panties, and will pathetically go after any man available, unless they are still in their 20's or VERY early 30's with perky breasts and smooth skin that doesn't need botox.

So it's all just very sad to me. I don't hate her, I just somehow feel awful watching her. Also, she's a bitch pretending to be "nice" and "positive" and "supportive." Actually, that hypocrisy limits my pity for her, and may be the only reason I think she'd be OK to stay on the show. It's a conundrum.

I disagree with all your points.

1. We have no way of knowing if she had businesses -- we only see what she does on the show. It's a fact that she owned and rented out that house in France which just sold. She didn't do it all by herself; saying the people who helped are "employees" is semantics, a bit of obfuscation, but not wholly untruthful. She has a fabulous wardrobe, house, lifestyle, goes places, sees and knows people -- she is no Edie B. and her house is not rundown. Seriously? Comparing that house to the Beale's house?
2. She met John Quincy Adams at that restaurant, but their romance didn't start until they met by chance in Aspen. He was 65 or so, not ancient. Did she target him for money? She knew many wealthy men in Manhattan and probably could have gotten married to one if she worked it. I wouldn't marry a man solely for money, but it wouldn't put me off either! Men that wealthy have the freedom to sweep a woman off her feet, as the article I recently posted says John did with Sonja. Poorer men would have to think about it, plan for it, etc. I certainly have a Princess complex, where that whole thing appeals to me, I'd imagine Sonja does, too.
3. I find your argument hateful to women, which surprises me. She is not too old to marry, as some media would have women believe -- you don't have to be 25 and have tits that point to the sky to get married, sorry that's just not true. Sonja has an amazing body, as we have seen. She is attractive and (not to be hateful to men, but) I have found that men love women who flirt -- they do marry women who make it known they are attracted to them. I do agree about her performance on the show, but I doubt men she might want to connect with would WATCH or take it seriously.

As for botox, even 20 year olds are getting it -- no one in that world looks down on people who get it injected. (I don't think.)

I also emphatically disagree that she's pretending to be nice or positive or supportive. None of the other HWs have interns en masse. She wrangles all those interns who don't seem to dislike her or be unhappy -- they're always smiling broadly (except the main gay assistant who seems stuck with a grim look) and laughing along with her, enjoying their time there. It's not forever and they know that so they're on the ride. And Sonja provides that -- she has the time and interest to do that. Try having an intern: it's exhausting dealing with the colleges and the credits and advertising and interviewing. I'll bet she knows all their names, the names of their parents, the names of their schools, who they are dating or have dated … she isn't a poseur in the human to human realm. Maybe in the reality realm. But … it's HWs. I expect that.

I didn't say she's too old to marry Icy. I said that she has very little chance of marrying the kind of money she wants and feels entitled to, at her age. That is more BECAUSE of being on the show, and her pathetic "no underwear" and "hitting on anyone with a cock" act is not attractive to men with that kind of money. If they want a woman like that, they generally want a very young woman.

That's more a comment about them than her.

Also, what I said up there is how I feel when watching her now. I know you don't have those feelings, but I do. I appreciate yours, but I just don't share them. B)

I know, as I said, it takes a lot of us for all of them to have an audience, because we all hate one and love another and don't agree! (or I should have said that.)

I suspect we hear more about the wealthy men who marry young women, but I think there are plenty of wealthy men who marry women more age appropriate, as their 2nd, 3rd, 4th, 5th wives. Too much money to spend, they chose to spend it on wives. I hope the world has changed, even at that altitude, that men who have young children as their wives get chided or out and out laughed at too much for them to maintain those relationships. Now, at the age of 50, young men don't interest me. I'm amazed that Sonja could date Benjamin, who was 25? 23? But she did go on and on that he had gray hair and seemed older.

Just occurred to me …. Sonja might act sexier on camera because of the cameraMEN. I wonder if they got women to operate those cameras, if Sonja wouldn't tone it down.

Oh I agree. I don't think all older men look for eye candy and need the youth to help (along with Viagra) get their wrinkly penises erect.

I just don't think that type is interested in someone like Sonja though, she's made herself into a joke on RHNY. It's the worst possible move she could have made, if her intention was to find a wealthy older man to provide her with anything approaching her long gone former lifestyle.

I think the kind of man looking for companionship and love would like a more substantial and far less embarrassing "wife" than Sonja. She's competing in the wrong market, using her old "young" style when it's no longer viable. If she instead used the "classy, used to money and able to conduct oneself with decorum older woman with a spark of sexy" she would probably already be married.

The prime example of Harry proves there are manwhores just as much as women -- all the HW husbands who jockey for scenes on the show prove, men can want/crave fame, too. Even wealthy ones -- look at Heather Dubrow's husband or Adrienne Maloof's -- they both have plenty of money and success and still want fame.

Sonja could land an heir who has more money than sense -- she was dating that real estate guy from the first season of MDL-NY, Michael Lorber. I think he's gay and not out, but if she'd married him there would be plenty of money and he'd be happy to be a HW husband. I think there are too many varieties of men out there to say that anything Sonja does lessens her chances. Her chances are helped by location, location, location. Millions of people in the city and where she travels, she travels in the right circles, packed full of those types.

One of her latest posts; she's getting very defensive about all the comments. If the house is not for sale, maybe she should ask Corcoran to remove it from their website.

onjatmorgan#Repost from @therealhousewivesof Once again for the record It's a show folks. More then meets the eye on canera --- Sonja Morgan addresses the things Ramona's been saying about her : I’m dating a sophisticated 23-year-old stunner, who I’m jet setting all over with and who can keep up and who is romancing me in five-star restaurants and hotels. My daughter’s thriving at school! My house is not crumbling and there’s no bank selling it. There never has been a bank. It’s not for rent. Heather and Ramona know very well that I went to France to sell my house there and I had a pending appeal on LA at the time. I had a very strong intuition that Ramona was going through something at the time that was making her act out and say these hurtful things about me while not in my presence and with people I’m not as close to as her — about things she knows very well aren’t true and things she’s not an expert on. 👦🏡💵 #Sonjamorgan #housewivesofnyc #rhony

I wonder if it was a real wedding or if the minister is an actor. Did they actually file the marriage certificate in the city hall? Lol. Aviva was a no show! Gross pervert! These two famewhores are really ho'ing it up. I wonder if they are filming their own reality show and trying to sell it to a network.

I wonder how much money he really has. He was an accountant to the stars right? How much can he have. Did he invest in real estate or something? What is Cody's cut going to be?

I thought I had a direct link, don't know what happened, thanks Fin.

Guess Aviva's flying phobia set in, or was it her asthma.

Weaver I think it was fear of sharing the estate-phobia. I hope he has a good prenup.
