What I don't get is why are the ratings down? I'm really enjoying this season. Is it indicative of New York or the housewives as a whole. It seems like every iteration but ATL has been down in recent history. |

They went up a little this week, I heard- and I hope that continues. IDK- I think NY is the best franchise, too. |

I think they are down as a whole too. Too much scripted drama - as in the women are creating drama? And I think we are all onto the production elements of editing scenes and out of order playing of scenes. I am really enjoying NY too. I think it's a lot of fun. Dorinda has been a breath of fresh air. Ramona is still a loon. Luann has been fun! Bethenny has added a lot when she interacts with the women - I am not so interested in her therapy sessions, but I liked her business stuff. I am not into them outing Sonja so much. It just seems mean. We all can see with our eyes that she's out of control. |

I really think it has to do with RHBH. That show just turned me off HW shows somehow. When I remember to watch NY this season, NY is doing fine, but my general attitude about HW shows is just down down down. BH just burned me out, horrible Kyle, dying Monty, gang-up pile ons, Brandi being weird because she was trying to bring the drama, seriously lame season, when it wasn't just disgusting me or making me worry about Kim. |

Interesting that you mention BH. I was surprised to find that their ratings are much higher than NY. I enjoy the scenes with Lu and Dorinda. Sonja and Ramona are always entertaining. Really haven't seen much of Kristen or Heather. Way too much Bethenny. If they want to keep her in the cast, they need to make her just another Housewife. I'm sure Andy is shocked that she didn't bring in good ratings. I think they completely misused her. |

Oh yeah, andme, BH won its night quite often, was over 2 mil most of the time even with all the negative drama. Even the dreadful OC, that I've given up, got 1.7 last week. Hard to believe NY is almost over. Yesterday on FB I see Andy posted asking for reunion questions. Three more episodes in T&C and reunion. Season has disappointed me. Why have on Heather if you are only using her as a Bethenny enemy and for reaction shots? Kristen the same, but Kristen is quiet and shy and may not have offered too much for the editors. I'd like to see her kids in a scene. I'd love to see Heather in her office environment. I follow her on Instagram, and she does so many interesting things; we see none of them. If Bravo wants to star Bethenny, give her her own show. Edited by weaver, Jun 27 2015, 11:12 AM.

Dorinda went in on Heather on twitter during the last episode and the preview has her and Heather fighting. I am surprised that Bethenny came back to the table saying she got through to Sonja because she clearly didn't. I think they all discussed in Queens giving Sonja an intervention, and I think Bethenny wrongly assumed she would be able to take the bulls by the horn and do it by herself, or maybe head off the intervention by herself. She should've learned from her experience in AC that Sonja is a lost cause. |

So was the "intervention" for Sonja's drinking, screwing, or not running a business properly? |

i have to remind myself that Bravo doesn't show us everything. It's possible that Sonja did listen to Bethenny, but that sure doesn't suit the story the producers want us to see, so we don't. |

Bethenny seemed to think Sonja did- from her blog- but Sonja disparaged Beth AND her business meeting she took her to in her last blog. Sonja's line seems to be "I understand, because Bethenny is projecting her problems onto me." Any time Sonja blogs, she acts as if they are all projecting, and there was nothing to EVER be concerned about, etc. I personally think it's pretty amazing that Sonja is settling her lawsuit and still owns Grey Gardens- I didn't expect her too- but she doesn't admit any of it is really her fault, ever. |

I think Sonja in her talking head here also thought Bethenny was projecting just as she did in AC. That's what you're saying Ranjake, right? Maybe Bethenny said something to her about B getting that Sonja was all upset that they were saying stuff on camera and to just ignore it, and that is why Bravo cut away, so B did get through to her. |

She says "They're" projecting a lot. From firstlooks, if it sunk into Sonja- it didn't sink in for very long. I was thinking when B was yelling at her that if Sonja passes out drunk in places, it must be deja vu for Bethenny, thinking about Sonja's daughter, Quincy. That's why I thought B got so heated and that line about "family, religion blah-blah" referred to. I guess I thought B WAS projecting then- but in a good way, sort of. |

Good point Ranjake. Maybe B is thinking about what Sonja's daughter may be going through. |

If that's what Bethenny's trying to convey, she needs to be clearer and more straightforward. I still don't get Bethenny's point - drinking, sex or delusions of a business? |

I just looked at her website again. Now some items are estimated for delivery on June 30. Well that is tomorrow, so why say it. Most are estimated for delivery on July 15, even the summer items. I bet they have not paid the manufacturer, otherwise why the delay? They are Made in New York, to her credit. OF course if they don't exist, I suppose it doesn't matter where one says they are made. The only ones for whom it would be appropriate to tell Sonja she drinks too much are Lu and Ramona, the old timers. And it should not be done on camera. |
