Beth's apartment is done. Very sedate. Too much brown for me. I liked a few rooms, and the splashes of color, and the grey.

Mariah I think those may be before shots? Wasn't she changing the kitchen to white? And I swear we saw them painting the hall boxes skinny girl red.

I like the before better lol, at least there is some color. As usual way too much formica looking stuff and white for me. Who has that much white when they have a small child anyway? And I'm always surprised at how tiny Bethenny's kitchens always seem to be, especially considering that she's supposed to be a chef. Even if she doesn't do that for a living anymore you'd think she'd still enjoy cooking and demand a big tricked out kitchen.

She had a much bigger one in apt 1
There are few huge kitchens in NYC. most likely she doesn't cook often and she would have had to give up another room to
Bang out the kitchen to double its size. I remember I. Apt 1 she said it would be used for photo shoots for food. Maybe she thought she would get a good show at that time. Lol. She's horrid. Remember the turkey that she didn't know wasn't cooking? You check a turkey at least every hour. She didn't know that. I bet she had never cooked one before. Don't use the vegan excuse. She was not and never was a
Vegetarian no matter what she says

I don't think anyone really cooks in NYC - even that chef boy toy of Carole's. If they do, they cook salads. Haha. Let's face it, Bethenny barely even eats. And if she is cooking, it is just for her and Bryn. She has everything she needs in that kitchen without compromising space for entertaining/living. She has a bigger kitchen in the Hamptons. She has to keep in mind resale too.

I would love both of her places. I don't love love love the white in NYC, but I think it actually warmed up the space. The brown to me highlighted the negative space and made the apartment seem colder which is odd bc white usually does that for me. I think she is spending her $ wisely.

I cooked in NYC. My apt was only 165 sf and I once had four friends over for T-day. FIVE people around a tiny table in my long skinny studio apt. I cooked a 20lb bird, too! And all the sides! Insane.

Yeah, I was poor, though, or I'd order take-out every meal, too. Much easier to clean up.

I don't care for her new apartment because it seems long and skinny. I prefer boxy. And to me all those furnishings look cold and hard. I guess my style is old school "Harvard University Library" style. :)

Lots of us cook in NYC even in our tiny kitchens. It became even bigger since all the cooking shows started running. You'd be surprised! I even did in my 20s but not that often. I think that was the biggest time to go out all the time

I like the living room in the new apt, but that's about it. Those bar chairs are so cold and uncomfortable. I hate furniture like that, its for show, not for using.

Is there a window in Bryn's bedroom?

Yeah, Bryn's room is not great for a four year old. I hope she has it full of toys now.

Very stark for a kid's bedroom.
