Ramona will be 56 in November. She looks pretty good. She needs to change her bathing suit style. The black one looked great on her.
I think she's in amazing shape for her age- for almost ANY age- but I do think she dresses in a way that sometimes gives her a "fat little stomach". Just a LITTLE shapewear, sometimes. Even tight underwear can hold you in. Sometimes, especialy with the shiny dresses- it's like she makes her unencumbered tummy the focus. And the menopause spread is totally legit, in my experience- but RAMONA is still fertile with very young ovaries- so it must be the Pinot :)

I am pretty sure she is on hormone replacement. You still get your period, it helps the skin, but apparently nothing stops the stomach except no food and lots of cardio.

I hate the menopause gut. Yuck - it just seems to have a life of its own.
I swear, the only thing that keeps my menopause gut away is not eating wheat. The minute I do, I gain fat AND water bloat. But a week without any wheat and I'm flat as a pancake again. Many will say that they'd rather have the gut then give up all the fun stuff - pasta, bread, CAKE! And I agree to a point but I'm just throwing that out there. I told my sis to try it for 3 days. 3 days. And she did and it worked and she's dropped 10 pounds in a month. All from her gut.

JKF Jr. and Carolyn. Fascinating. She was an enigma. And I'd love to know who her colorist was. Amazing color.

I forgot to add this earlier in the week.

On Monday's Today Show there was a segment on...wait for it...cooking with a toaster oven!!!!!

They interviewed some apparent French chef guy who came home one day and his wife was using it to fix something for their kids. That sparked the idea and voila...segment on the Today Show.

Not one mention of Real Housewives or Sonja. I suspect this portends a quiet and rapid fizzle for her little toaster oven project. It's been done and I don't see the media or a publisher wanting to help her reinvent the wheel.

I ride the fence on my opinion of Sonja. I guess she's so used to the life of a wealthy world traveling socialite that she can't face the reality of it being over. But seriously? Wake up, Sonja! Stop whining about what's dead and gone. It's time for you to get a real job like the rest of us 99%-ers.

Wow...good scoop, Vander! The thing is, Sonja had this idea a few seasons ago. She was just too lazy to act on it.

If you google Toaster Oven Cookbook you'll get a ton of hits. They've been around!

Sonja's would still sell because of her RH status. Her cross-over to other markets was always a risk. Maybe that's why she hasn't got an investor.

Nice catch Vander!! Holla was right on the money when she said Sonja can't get out of her own way. She's so scattered and lazy she can't get something/anything going. I'll say it again - a woman like her needs to focus on catching a guy with some money.

Icy - I'm not so sure Sonja's hypothetical toaster oven would sell well. She hasn't really shown herself to be a fabulous cook or hostess. And she hasn't shown any unique features that would set her product apart from anyone else's. I do think she might be able to sell a cookbook if she had some clever recipes, but she seems incapable of getting off her ass and doing it.

Andme, I'm thinking of the market of viewers who don't care if the book is good, the song is tuneful, or if the product in any way works -- they just enjoy buying products from Bravo and the women. I suspect this includes a lot of people who don't participate on the boards/forums/online. Heck, I could be wrong. I hope she puts a product out just so we can see!

Ya know, I hope she puts the product out, too. I feel kinda sorry for her and would like to see her succeed. But she seems to undermine herself.

I cringe every time I see that burlesque that she did, complete with the little moue pout at the end. I do think that her life coaching advice to Aviva was pretty on point. I find Sonja sympathetic and pathetic at the same time. She isn't mean, so I like her.

I find Sonja very entertaining - and very pretty too. Plus, I like that she keeps her kid off the show - whether that's by court order or learning from watching Lulu and Ramona etc. parade their offspring I still appreciate it.

I like Sonja well enough but she was kind of mean to Cindy Bunnyhop. Even though Cindy was boring, I loved when she called Sonja out on her behavior.

Oh I forgot about that rye - when Sonja let The Vaggezler know who's who and what's what about Ramona. I kind of liked that. She was sticking up for her friend.

Now when she invited her to "breakfast" at 11:30 am and got all pissy because Cindy brought her assistant AND took a call - well that just made her ridiculous.
