I agree Cajun. I wouldn't start over with a new cast; I'd just cross RHONY off my RH list. I thought last season was pretty good but maybe it was just the contrast to the terrible terrible mess of the season before that. RHONY without Ramoaner or the Countless? No thanks. But I also thought the other women brought alot of good snarkable stuff to the table too. Plus, if they rebooted the cast to that extent [or cancelled it] you just know Jill would believe it was because it all feel apart when she got the ax. Gah! NYC is major, and it's a perfect city for a show like this. They just need the right cast. I do think Bravo is thinking of just skipping it though. The trashiest shows get the biggest ratings. NYC has become one long infomercial though. I wish they would go younger. |

Bravo is based in NYC, as are a lot of producers and production assistants and camera people and companies that cater and companies that drive and insurance agents who handle production... it's all there (and in LA) -- they have the perfect place to try out stuff, which is why we get "Nine By Design" and "Pregnant in Heels" and other tryouts; no one has to spend $ on hotels or travel or miss their mate. It would not be smart of them to discontinue RHONY. I also think it would be wrong to chuck Carole or Heather, even though I hate Holla. Aviva SHOULD go, so that new RHs don't think they get an automatic ask back -- and Aviva cannot be redeemed, I believe. But Ramona and Sonja? Comedy gold! Luann ... on the fence ... my photographer friend in NYC posted a picture of her from a shoot he did before RH and she looked gorgeous. But her soul .... questionable to me. |

I wouldn't watch. I'd hate it. I don't want to get involved in an entire new cast. Bye bye. I hope they don't end it |

I don't know if I'd watch a new cast. I purposely haven't started watching any of the new Bravo shows because I refuse to get sucked into a new one. I'm sucked into my existing ones enough as it is. I'll watch NJ when it comes back in May and then if there is no NY I guess I'll be going through some Ho detox. |

I'd watch. At least two episodes. NY is just stale, and I'm sick of the constant ads for everything. Luann could be good, but she puts on such an act, I bet she'd be fun if she acted like her real horny, drunken self. Ramona is a champion shit stirrer pro, and has that open-mouth spurt things that works on these shows, but been there, done that. Holla pretty much bored me, although she had her moments. Carole was something fresh, but I don't know if she is even interested in another season, she got what she wanted, book sales. I kind of miss Alex truthfully, her awkwardness aside, or maybe because of it. They should go fresh, and younger, and there should be enough women in NYC to fill that. Actresses who need the money or exposure, but still have some cachet. Do it like a S&TC NY view, only as wives with some money. Don't allow blatant hawking of jewelry or books on every single episode, or anything else. |

I don't think they will. Besides all the good points Icy made about NYC I like that the NY ho-wives have all been sort of power women - whether by their own accord or marriage, and sometimes just in their own mind. I like that they are all in their 40s/50s - that's a formula that works. No other reality show caters to our invisible demographic quite like the ho-wives. While I'm not a Lulu fan at all, I can't imagine this show without her. She brings me all kinds of joy with her royal hypocracy and snobbery. |

Maybe they should just do a big shake up and ship Nene off to BH and have Camille Grammer move to NY and I think we should send Ramona and Sonja off to NJ. |

ITA Cosmo. I love NYC. Unlike the BH women, they aren't trophy wives. Even Jill worked at one point in her life - really worked. This winter Luann was in Jackson Hole, Ramona was in Aspen as was Jill I believe. I believe Ramona walked in NYFW. Sonja was in Gstaad or some such place. Holla is suing Spanx and god knows what Carole and Aviva are up to. But they could have filmed some of this. I don't think Ramona or Luann actually live up to the same level of sophistication that Holla, Carole and Aviva do. Where did Ramona go to college? She just comes across as uneducated and unworldly compared to the new hos. |

I think that's because she is [uneducated and unworldly] next to the new hos who all grew up with some money - especially Aviva. Ramona grew up upstate and graduated from the Fashion Institute of Technology in NYC and started as a buyer at Saks or Macy's. Ramona is self-made. I remember her telling someone she made her first million before age 40. Don't ask me how I know all that - I don't really know. We know Lulu didn't grow up in the lap of luxury either and worked for a short while as a LPN but she was good looking and that got her to Europe where she met the Count and learned to greet everyone with double air kisses call them dahling. Different paths, but it made them the characters I love to watch. Edited by Cosmocrush, Mar 26 2013, 11:11 PM.

Sonja Tweeted from Thailand yesterday, so I guess she isn't losing any sleep over RHofNY. I noticed in that drunken video of her she was with that in the closet realtor from the real estate show, the son of the Douglas Elliman owner. Maybe he is picking up the tab for her. I mean a trip to Thailand costs more than a plumber visit, no? I'd like a new cast starting with Holla! and Carole. But I want to see Hamptons! I'm sick of the endless meetings at NYC restaurants and fake/phony Bravo arranged "vacations." |

Cosmo ITA that Ramona and Luann keep the show really fun to watch. They bring the right level of crazy (Ramona) and delusional (Luann). Sonja is probably just a courtesan at this point. |

They've been spotted together for months now! Wow. I'm surprised. I don't know if they're a thing but last summer they were photographed in the Hamptons with speculation of a May - Dec romance. He gives her what she needs - $$ - and she gives him what he needs. He didn't strike me as the kind of guy who'd ever had what he needed. KWIM? |

I bet Sonja could get him what he needed, so she'd serve several purposes. Remember that Tenn Williams movie with Liz Taylor and Montgomery Clift? |
