Because Bethenny has to "win" and make the other person look as bad as possible in the process. |

I'm way behind on this thread. I'm sure Kelly has over 5 million in the bank. If she has a financial advisor she should be fine if it's invested well even if she didn't work another day in her life. Lots more than most of us will have. Just my opinion. She has lots of friends in the Hamptons to let her crash without her owning. |

I am pro prenup in certain situations, namely where there is family money tied up in family businesses or on a second marriage where the first produced kids. I had a friend whose sister got divorced and the ex wanted a piece of her family's business. Don't think the new spouse should be entitled to a share of the old spouse's home upon divorce. But I think those are pretty cut and dry and really have nothing to do with the relationship between the marrying couple. I think Kelly probably knew her marriage would have an expiration date that coincided with her getting older. Mariah ITA about lulu and the count. I think he fell head over heels publicly with the princess. But I that that is long over. Edited by Finestra, May 18 2013, 09:27 AM.

I just saw the photo Jill Z tweeted of Ginger sitting on the chaise in the Hamptons. I just feel like it is deja vu all over again with Giggy's little pink nantucket chair. |

Agree, and I'm sure he is still paying child support. The kids are not 18 yet, and will have to live somewhere. If she wants to live downtown, she's going to pay a big monthly rent. Will be interesting to see where she ends up. She tweeted that she is house hunting today. |

Thanks weaver. Good for her. I don't think it's a coincidence that Lulu, Kelly, and Jill all married rich old(er) guys at all. Now if they had married young, not so rich guys (ala Jason) ... that might be interesting. Lulu has even managed a way to have both; the Count's money and Le Ross in her bed, lol. |

Ramona solves the problems of the rich: Ramona helps nab nanny Last Updated: 12:29 AM, May 20, 2013 Posted: 12:26 AM, May 20, 2013 Reality star Ramona Singer turned into a real-life hero when she helped a pal track down a nanny who allegedly stole thousands of dollars in jewelry from her Park Avenue apartment. Composer and philanthropist Lucia Hwong Gordon went on vacation with her kids last month and realized upon her return that precious gems — including a diamond-and-ruby necklace — as well as her kids’ baptismal jewelry and “family heirloom silver,” among other items, were missing, sources said. Gordon asked live-in nanny Raquel Santos, who was hired through a staffing agency, if she’d seen the pricey possessions — and Santos “started crying,” said a source, then allegedly handed over slips to a pawn shop. A complaint filed with the Manhattan DA’s office alleges Santos then took Gordon to two pawn shops where some of the possessions were on display. But the socialite didn’t report Santos, even when she realized more items were missing. She asked friends, including Singer, for advice. “Lucia was distraught,” a source said. “She didn’t want to file any charges. It was traumatic.” But “Ramona said she needed to speak up before the woman victimized another family,” our source said. The “Real Housewives” star told Gordon, “‘I’m doing a Ramona on you! You’re going to report this woman.” The cops were called, and Singer advised Gordon to call the nanny to say she wanted to buy back the rest of her belongings. When Santos arrived at the Park Avenue home, she allegedly had more of Gordon’s goods and was arrested. Singer told us: “I’m thrilled justice was served. My friend showed strength and perseverance. It was important that this was investigated. If it had not been investigated, she might have just gone to work for another family and done the same thing.” Gordon had no comment, but a friend said, “Ramona gave her the strength to deal with this.” Santos’ lawyer said, “The DA and I are endeavoring to resolve this matter. We expect the victim will not have lost any of her property.” NEW YORK POST is a registered trademark of NYP Holdings, Inc. nypost.com , nypostonline.com , and newyorkpost.com are trademarks of NYP Holdings, Inc. Do we know for sure Jill bought the house and isn't just leasing it or renting again? Any real estate folks here check on that? I wonder what it looks like now if she did buy? I'm sure it's filled with lots of hideous ZARIN FABRICS! and she's negotiating a photo shoot deal if they actually own this one. |
