One of her kids is Kikilet on twitter. It's a cute name. She should use that for her jewelry. Maybe Gilles wants his name back like David Foster.

Kelly was in the Hamptons today promoting her book, and Calvin Klein, who wrote a blurb for the cover, was with her.

And Kelly's "co-writer" on the book is Teresa DiFalco, Carole's ex sister in law. She's apparently a well known writer and ghostwriter. Hmmmmmmmm.

Carole used her as an editor I think for the Widow's Guide to Sex and Dating. I remember her talking to her on the phone on air and having to send her the manuscript.

Maybe "word on the street" wasn't so wrong.

Carole appears very undiciplined as to deadlines.

Someone on another site mentioned there is already a book called "The Reluctant Vegetarian." LOL.

Maybe Adam is using her for exposure. He really didn't seem that into her when she called him in Africa, "Yo dude, gots to go eat my African yucca before it gets cold. Later." She may be better at non-fictionish type stuff.

I really think "What Remains" is a beautiful book. I never read her other one, though I've read some of her blogs and essays and liked them. I really do think she wrote WR, never seriously thought about the ghostwriter. I always wished that she would go back to writing books like that. Lots of people are saying Lu has had the quickest fall (and then maybe rise, again) of the HW's. For me it's Carole; I just think that book is such a gem, and I can't get over her...I don't even know what to call it. WR took her SO long- maybe she just doesn't want to dive that deep any more. Or maybe there really was a ghostwriter, but I'm still leaning toward no.

I never believed Aviva either, but we've seen how casual Carole is about deadlines. She is smart and clever, so she definitely had the ideas and structure for the book, but maybe SIL pushed her a bit.

She is very disappointing. Who cares about The Reluctant Vegan when she is capable of so much more.

WR was based upon her life, so it may have been much "easier" for her to write, and even then it took her time. A good editor may have made it all come together for her. Now writing fiction could be a lot harder for her.

Vegan schmegan. Just another way to hold onto Adam for awhile longer? I don't know. Or maybe they both know it is a showmance. You would think she would be in Africa doing the documentary and filming that for HWs. I think we are win the wrong thread?
