Thanks, Mariah. I wouldn't get a one piece, just need to flatten my stomach. I hope they don't have a pee hole!! I would have to remove the whole piece. I don't have good aim ;) Why don't they make them like a body suit so the bottom snaps closed? The hole/slit is almost insulting. |

The last whole body shaper I had featured snaps in the crotch. This was years ago and I think a maidenform or something. I don't get the hollywood folks who were spanx on top of spanx. I didn't think spanx power were additive. LOL. |

Are two spanx better than one? LOL Crap, maybe I'll just find a way to make a DIY lipo clinic - a vacuum, turkey baster and a soup can. |

The chunky girl from the Help admitted to wearing 3-4 spanx when on the red carpet. |

I don't get that. If the first pair isn't doing it and you absolutely MUST fit in your dress, fast for a couple of days or get a new frickin' dress. |

I know sounds like you are wearing a human condom that's as thick as a rubber tire. |

I think wearing 2 would be slightly lighter than an old-style girdle. Wearing 3 WOULD be an old style girdle, only smoother lines. Most of them who wear 3 look like a sausage though. |

The stupid thing is that Heather is bone thin. Why would she need ONE, let alone three? Obsession? |

Heather said she wore 3? I missed that! Maybe separates? They are really good at giving you a smooth line and less jiggle. I find it odd that women stopped wearing pantyhose but started wearing what is basically support pantyhose for the whole body. I know it's completely out of fashion, but I like the way legs look in the right pantyhose, especially after a certain age. The no-hose look is fine if you have great legs and good color, which is IMO, mostly women 30 and under (though frankly only certain women.) One you get into those middle age years 38-58 though, I think pantyhose are much more flattering than bare legs, even if they have been professionally airbrushed with a tan. ready to duck tomatoes |

Mariah pantyhose are coming back. They've been on many tv women and in shows again for the past 2 years. I never understood the pasty leg look in the middle of winter. I certainly wouldn't wear them with high heeled sandals or in the summer but they look nice in the winter with dresses and my legs look much better so I agree. |

Yeah, I don't like them with open toed shoes, but I do like the look of them. They're back? :) I am SO not a fashionista. |

Nobody wants to admit it like if you go on urban baby which talks about most things that have nothing to do with babies but I have seen them everywhere |

The panty hose they do now look as though you are going bare legged. My personal philosophy on dressing well is to make sure your clothes fit properly. If you have any bulges that are visible, wear shapewear or, by a bigger size. Lycra is not a right, it's a privilege :) And, most importantly, if it doesn't look good - cover it up. Pretty soon, I'll be wearing a burka!! |

Huh? The only person I've heard wore 3 was Octavia Spencer (the chunky one) from the help. So confused - interesting observation re spanx basically being support hose for the body. I don't wear skirts, ever, and I marvel at folks going bare legged in fall/winter - you see it in Hollywood all the time, and granted it's CA, but I've always been a dress for the calendar vs. dress for the weather. LOL. |
