Were  the selling a lot?

Yeah, I could see Jill finding her niche with something like that.

The leggings sold out. None of the other stuff sold out as far as I know. She had a cami sorta like Bethy's, but less shaping and constricting, more like a regular cami.

The other stuff was typical Spanx looking, although it did look well made.

One of them puzzled me. Do people actually wear torture devices like this? You had to wear your own bra and somehow get this over it by pulling it up.

LOL..OMG....I would be one big vat of sweat if I wore that.

Why did they get a model with such flat boobs for that Camilot shaper?

Horrible name. Reminds me of the nursing pillow that was called "My Breast Friend".

The item itself is not a bad idea. When ya wear Spanx, even though it's designed to pull up high under your bra to smooth you, it never stays there. On me, it always ends up rolled up at my waist. Straps is a good idea to keep it up. Problem is, if you had straps on a pair of Spanx, you'd need a hole or trap door so you could pee so you wouldn't have to take the straps down to do so. Hot!

Alex tweeted that she is at the Zang Toi fashion show at NYFW. He dressed Jill in that great 1 shoulder dress for her creaky joints fundraiser. Cynthia Bailey was with her and Ramona showed up.
I wonder if Jill made it into the front row?

The Wall Street Journal had this article up, Alex linked it on Facebook:

The WSJ doesn't seem to know that Alex is not on the show any longer.

EXCLUSIVE! Jill Zarin’s “Disappointing” Appearance Required Apology From “Jewish Federation of Greater Dallas”
Quote:

The Jewish Federation of Greater Dallas had a scheduled event “The Women’s Event at Night” and Jill Zarin, Lisa Wexler and their mother Gloria Kemen wer booked and featured for sharing their secrets for Jewish Mothers.    The event was last night and it appears the expectations were not met from the Jill Zarin group.  Actually, it appears things went so badly, the organization issued a letter of apology to the members.  The entertainment portion of the evening was panned as a true disappointment and did not meet their expectations.
Quote:

Thank you so much for attending the Women’s Event at Night.  We were thrilled with the turnout, and especially proud that 150 new donors were present. We were equally as proud of the success of our Younger Set’s Women-to-Women mitzvah project and the generous outpouring of support and the number of donations of much needed necessities that will benefit hundreds of women in our community through Jewish Family Service.Alina Spaulding was tremendous and presented a compelling case for giving.  She wonderfully illustrates the purpose of the Federation and represents the very best of who we are and what we represent as women, a Jewish community, and Jewish peoplehood. We also realize that our entertainment after dinner was a true and complete disappointment. Their presentation was not what we had planned with them and certainly did not meet our expectations of a funny and poignant take on Jewish motherhood.  We can assure you that we attempt to bring in only speakers who will deliver an entertaining and relevant message with respect to our audience.

We hope that the message you took away from the evening was Alina’s: “It is because of you, and what you do, that I am here today. All that I have, and all that my family has, all that we have been able to accomplish and will accomplish in our futures is because of you and what you did for us, and what you continue to do by giving, and asking others to give.”

We appreciate and thank you for all you do for so many and your continued support.

    Sincerely,

    Jeffrey Rasansky                                            Susan Kramer

    Board Chair                                                    CEO and President

Thanks to @judo4me for the heads up!

I have now learned that @realityjulie had provided Judo with the letter.  Julie had a friend who attended the event and did receive the email personally!  I need more deets !!

If anyone has further information as to what disappointed the organization, please add your thoughts and comments in the comment section!

Here are some deets from Julie!
@naughtynicerob @lisawexler offended most of the jewish women in dallas community last night while @Jillzarin hocked books @ charity event

I'm really surprised. Lisa Wexler is very smart; of course she is also extremely liberal and this sounds like a conservative group.

I would assume they have their appearance routines down pat by now, what would have been different?
