Wow. Thanks for linking that, CCC. It's a beautiful, if sterile, home. Lucky Ginger.

Jill's scene is up - here is the link She brags a lot - it's pretty funny to me but god if you got it - as in bucks - enjoy it!

Thanks ccc.

Other than the curved see through stairs, I love it all. Great dining room table.

When she revealed the view from the living room, I was in awe. The spa, the hot tub, the pool.......

Speakers everywhere outside?????? I'd kill her if I were next door.

andme, dammit, where do I send the bill for my latest trip to the optometrist?

I'm not proud, but AlexSimon really bring something awful out in me. I want to rat-a-tat insults about beautiful, Munch-like 'model' faces and schlong size and attention whoriness to end all attention whoriness...

I think I would have liked a half-season of Alex trying to butter up to Carole. They both probably have similar tastes, can express themselves in writing, and were naturally less uptight than Ramonster et al. I think Carole would have been nice or nice-ish at first, and then said some cutting things in that stoner voice that would've brought Alex closer to tears than Lu, Ramona or Bethenny ever managed.

So funny = I loved the stairs. The outside is amazing. Next door isn't close. I think all the beaches are public though so if you want to go down the beach and sit in front of her home - you can!

I like the way they look, but I'd hate to walk up them wearing a skirt at a party!

Well the house decor is too sterile for me. But it is amazing. Great patio area/pool/firepit. Great location. She is so lucky. Andy might hate her, but she has a home to die for.

The one thing I didn't like was her dress/shirt. I think she just looked like she was tottering around on too high of heels. I think she would have looked better with cute little mules with 1 or 2 inch heels.

ahem :$ :P ;)

From Zillow, it's been on the market for 444 days, and that is probably because they say it's over priced. Guess they decided to rent it out while waiting, to a renter willing to have a realtor show the house. Anyone want to go take a tour?

For Sale: $8,275,000
ZestimateŽ: $5,807,574

Good find, Mariah.

I guess Jill does have some clout; Bobby probably negotiated a very good rental price.

My fave Hamptons house was always Kelly's. It looked homey and lived in. The furniture was not expensive but looked so right for the setting. And it had so many personal touches in it.

Weaver ITA about Kelly's house. On the site that ccc linked to yesterday there were some classic, shingled Hamptons homes that I would die for. I don't really go for modern (not that I wouldn't take Jill's house in a heartbeat!)

I know someone who just bought land out there and is building a house very similar to the modern house that the real estate show started in. She is doing it as an investment. Apparently there are a lot of wealthy Russian buyers who are looking for modern homes out there. She is going to build and sell and then build a more modest sized home for her family out there.

ETA - I could see Bobby negotiating a rent to buy option. He seems too shrewd to plunk down a few hundred thousand for the summer. Now that I think about it, Jill probably got a deal because she sold the seller the idea of her having it advertised on tv with her star quality.

The Russians are coming, the Russians are coming!

They are everywhere in Manhattan, buying up properties. Who wudda thunk it in the old Soviet Union days?

I like the shingled homes better too. They are so elegant and timeless.

Good find. It's on the market too long to have been relisted. Lots of people do that for some reason - they buy and list at the same time. Did they list price and size at the beginning of the Jill segment? They do that most of the time.

Oh it's brand new - built in 2012 so it's never been lived in. So it was either a bankruptcy - or built by someone over extended and never moved in or it was built on spec by builder.

Funny. My friends house. The one I showed you that was on royal pains had the same chandelier or very very similar. Another acquaintance of mine used the same architect and just built a n house featured in a few magazines. Ill try to get a link

Too modern for my taste.

But I'll still take it.

ccc, you have to find a way to get to Jill's July 14th bash..........or find out about it, who was there, etc.
