I agree. Gorgeous house for someone who likes contemporary but I love the classic Hampton style.

The pool and yard? Well done. I agree about the bragging and the shoes. It's a beach house, Jill. Kick off yer shoes and relax.

And to be really nitpicky, LOL, the planters flanking her front door? Meh. Looks like they'd just been planted. From the driveway they looked empty or dead. They'll be fine in a month but if a TV crew is coming to my house, I'm splashing out for the spectacular $200 porch pots my nursery sells.

Thanks for finding the link, CCC.

So she's in Shinnecock -=I'm sure that was her house on Corcoran. That's easy to get to. You beat all the traffic because it's before hitting the Southampton town traffic. We take a route past Shinnecock bay when we drive sometimes but now we only take the jitney and they rarely go down there. It's a good 30 minutes or more to get to where I am in EH and near Sag Harbor. I know nobody who knows Jill.

Fin I don't know if it's that close to the beach. They bought the property so it may be south of the highway. If it were on the beach they would have shown it. It also would have been worth a lot more than that. Jill's house or rental house is on the bay - not the full ocean. Very expensive but not like ocean front.

Here's my good friend's house. I must be her most poor friend. THis is on the ocean. See lots of the new houses are built very modern with tons of glass for the light. The older houses have much less glass. I love them all. I rarely go to the beach. I like a hot pool

Okay, I'll take modern! What a view. I love the ocean. Spent my summers at the Jersey shore growing up. My dad has a shore house, so we still go down whenever we want. But that serenity and privacy of that house is to die for ccc. Lucky friend!

I wouldn't want to be right on the ocean. There is something foreboding about it. The Caribbean, yes, but the Atlantic, no. Oh, and the Connecticut shore is fine.

My brother's girlfriend has a house in Orleans on Cape Cod, old style house, beautiful. Not in the category of these mansions, but a house I like. Five minutes from the beach but not on the water. I'm waiting for my summer invite.

Jill entertained over the weekend. Wonder if that is her chook? Guess there was more than two kebobs.

I don't like Jill's rental home. It screams 'rental' to me. Of course, I'd love to stay there for a summer though!

We usually rent a cottage on the Connecticut shore for a week every summer. We rent this really small place on the beach. It's now surrounded by these huge homes that we've watched being built. They look empty and cold. I've never seen anyone outside them, or kids playing or anything. Jill's house reminds me of those.

Kelly had the most welcoming house. I don't know anything about location in the Hamptons, but it was warm and colorful.

I miss seeing Simon and Alex and their pretentiousness too. However, Alex just couldn't cut it in reality TV. Kelly could, but she had that crazy episode and I guess she was more of a liability than an asset.

Ramona supposedly slapped a producer, though. I wouldn't miss her at all if they fired her.

So, once again, Jill has everyone convinced she bought a house in the Hamptons.

What is with her? Why not just say, "We are renting this fabulous house! We had to promise to show it for the realtor if anyone was interested in buying, and we are getting it for almost nothing since I told the realtor that I would get it on morning TV, ya know, since I'm famous and all!" OK, she could have left out the last part.

She probably had to put it in writing that she would do NO decorating. ;)

:D

She had that little table with a few things on it in the entry way though. Her mom bought it in the 60s!!! It's an antique and a family heirloom. :$

That house was so bare (including that table). The only genuine thing I saw was Ginger's steps.

Ginger is a big shit-all-over-the-house dog. I wonder what that place is going to smell like by the end of the summer.

Mariah - I know you despise Jill but I can promise you she isn't getting it for almost nothing for a morning 5 minute spot that hardly anyone watches. Absurd if you think that. They paid. On B's show they said Bethenny's condo - she didn't own it - she rented or Bravo did for her. Open House in no way paid for Jill's rental. It's a little morning show and it was a clip. I don't even know if it was really Tribeca or West Soho - depends on which side of the tunnel she was on. I will add it was strange that they didn't have the amount of money it is for sale on the clip. Why is that? I have no clue. Most of the homes for sale, even when they are lived in at the current time, have prices listed if they are for sale.

Fin I'm sure that Ginger is marking her spots all over that house - that I agree upon.

Yes Freely - the house was staged. That's why it was so bare. It's brand new too as I said. Now Ginger can really mark it and be the first dog to do it.

I thought you were sure that she bought it? That Jill would NEVER pretend, or have to, if she was just renting?

The discount stuff was a joke, although I have no doubt that Jill tried and probably DID get some "rent" taken off.

She never said she bought it. She said she got it. She did have a house she owned and they sold it at almost the top of the market. Then she rented. She said neither this year - so since it's listed I assume it's still on the market.

Wouldn't you try to get it at a discount? Everyone Haggles - even cheap billionaires.

Freely let me add that I'm sure that the entire clip was staged. Jill doesn't drink but had a bottle of Rose there and toasted.

I guess it doesn't really matter if she bought it. She could afford to buy it. And she gets to stay in that lovely place this summer. And, if they're renting, stay in another lovely place next summer.

Did we know Jill had a jewelry line? I knew she sold the shapewear, but I must have forgotten this. Is this what she sells on QVC? It says the jewelry is available at Lord & Taylor and soon to be at Macy's. I wonder if she's making good $$ from this?

Jill's Jewelry

Silex should have stuck with Jill. She might have been able to help them unload some of those Egyptian towels.

It doesn't matter, except when I SAID she was probably renting when she first started bragging about it, I was corrected rather vehemently.

I never said she bought. I think from the beginning I said the same thing - she said neither. Who cares anyway? Lucky rich bitch she is. Funny - most people when they rent a summer place don't say oh I'm RENTING a place - they say oh we have a place for the summer. Maybe it's the connotation of the word. Me? I couldn't care less. I'm a crasher.

Yes I knew about the jewelry but I didn't know if it went past the first year. It's cheap costume stuff I think. Guess if it's doing well on QVC she's keeping busy. Bobby probably supports her endeavors whatever they may be. She travels all the time. Nice life but she'll never get what she really wants which is back on Bravo.
