The website is nice, and there are several things, but no prices? No shopping cart? Also, nothing new there.

Yeah, Jill went for the jugular when she screamed the "spread eagled naked in the hallway" stuff repeatedly on the live show. I saw the photos back then, and they seemed to be in a room of the hotel, not the hallway or any public area, but that was enough to get him fired it seems. He also did himself no favors by even appearing on a show like this, so it's his fault as well.

He could probably get a hotel manager job back in a less prudish country, but they may not want to move. It is kind of sad.

I suspect his excessive boozing and his increasing snootiness from being on the show got him fired, rather than anything Jill said. If he was a good manager filling up the place, they would not have fired him. Course it was recession years. Now you can't get a hotel room here.

Then of course Celebrity Breakup Rehab or whatever it was called, sure didn't help.

What about his recording career? Didn't take off, oh OK.

Well, I think they were wannbe famewhores even before this show and then they got a taste of the spotlight (more than just the back of her $25K dress) and went nuts. I remember Alex saying they originally auditioned for a show about raising kids in Brooklyn or something. Plus, the student films Alex did in college and all the modeling, etc. It's not like they were perfectly happy with their perfectly fine white collar jobs. At the very least they were total social climbers.

And I think little Frasier and Miles will be just fine. Their parents love each other and them. Wouldn't it be hilarious if they grew up to be cops and blue collar guys with parents whose eccentricities were just an embarrassment?

I agree the kids will be fine. Alex and Simon appear to be loving, motivated, well meaning, attentive parents. My fear is that there won't be any money when Frank and Joe go to college because the only income is from mommy trying to sell Onion Chopper Cozies made from bath towels and Daddy is in the basement and hasn't been seen for years.

Lol rye. I especially like the part about Simon being in the basement for years.

That's why the future I gave for them will be hard working blue collar guys. New York City's Finest. They will skip poetry reading in high school to start working out and become big manly looking men. They will change their names to Frank and John and marry nice girls they did not meet on Craigslist. They will eschew off-season Bahamas for Florida Disneyworld and only act slightly embarrassed when Grandpa Simon shows up in a speedo.

Meanwhile, I would like to Silex back on TV in some reality show. Seems like if they can give that slug Kim Z her own show Silex should be able to score one too.

Okay so I am living large in the Hamptons this week, courtesy of mooching off my sister. I forgot there is a Zarin Fabrics Is Sponsoring This Part of the Highway sign out here. Unfortunately, there was quite a bit of garbage on that stretch. I may tweet Jill, I don't think she would like it looking bad. It has been windy and rainy on and off. So her clean up crew may have not been out yet this week.

There are SO many homes that look like Kelly's and Luann's. It really is beautiful. But I have to say, I love ocean views, and we are back in the woods.

yes, I think you should take a pic and tweet it to her.

All I know about the Hamptons I learned on this show and the Barefoot Contessa - who is often telling me how many fabulous places there are to eat out there.

Have fun Fin!

Hamptons sounds awesome. FB pictoday of Johan Bicycle riding, still with training wheels at age 7. Someone asked his age, no I didn't hv that memorized. 7 seems mature for training wheels to me. When do those come off? I say 5 and 7 doesn't scream to a blue collar future,

I think 7 is on the older side BUT the kid lives in the city where there isn't as much opportunity to ride comfortably. My boys took them off at 4. My husband took my daughter's off when she was 2 1/2. I came home from church and she was riding this little monkey sized bike down the side walk. I yelled at him that she was too young to do it and he looked at me like, "Um WTF - she IS doing it." My little one waited until she was 7 - I think first grade. She told us that she wanted to wait until college to take them off. She has low tone and sensory issues, so it kind of made sense that she didn't want to do it.
