Oh Vanderfabulous - Jill would be so thrilled to be confused with Jayz!

I think Kelly loves her kids and spends a lot of time with them. If the nanny is there, all the better for the kids.

I do think maybe she doesn't have the best grip on reality. My friend was in Haiti at the same time as Kelly. Kelly's tweets are all
"doing cartwheels" "sitting in a tree" "put in a fresh water well for the kids" "playing with the kids so cute" type. But my friend said from the minute they left the airport, the poverty was palpable and overwhelming. Kelly's organization is digging new water wells which are needed and that is great. The people were drinking from puddles on the street that others were bathing in. People are literally starving in the streets. The tent camps are all over and more tents are still needed as there are so many still homeless. The crime is outrageous. Women and young girls are being raped right and left - especially in some of the camps. My friend was shaken to the core by what she witnessed - especially the little 3 y.o. girl who had been raped. She did say that Sean Penn's camp is the only one that is actually working.
I don't know what happened to all of the Red Cross money and other international money that went there (corruption?), but there is a lot needed still to fix Haiti.

Anyway, Kelly's tweets seemed incongruous to what was happening there. Either they shielded her and Sea from a lot (but much was apparent just by walking around), she didn't "see" it, or she just went to her happy place. But she could have used her tweets to emphasize how desperate the situation still is down there.

Oh Jill. Believe me, we know.

Tweets are no more crazy than Bethenny's. I probably can find five or six from any two week period along the lines of "I'm exhausted and stressed, but have to go to Indiana for a Skinnydipping signing. Had to skip yoga today."

I'm sure that's true but Bethenny still has a show on the air and she's tweeting about her life and her businesses not commenting on Jill or Lulu or Ramona.

I don't follow Jill's tweets except what is posted here and couple other places so I may be wrong but it seems like she spends a lot of time reacting to Ramona, Bethenny, and her "fans".

and Bethenny isn't making gummy bear chandeliers and tweeting pictures of them. No, not for a party, as real home decor for our nutty Kelly. Imagine the bugs.

It's cool that you saw her and was fun hearing about it. It just doesn't change people's opinions of her. Some like her, some don't. Some think she is batshit nuts or brain damaged, some think she is sweet and misunderstood.

Thanks, andme :)

Mariah, I understand the difference of opinions, it's just that the tone of the thread sort of shifted. It's cool, but I'll think twice before posting something so controversial (joke).

It really says something that after this many months, our emotions can be so charged by these people. Maybe being fired wasn't enough suffering? ;)

Do you think being hanged, drawn and quarterted would suffice? Tarred and feathered, perhaps?

Hmmm, maybe some remorse would fix things. Some "I did it to myself" on Jill's part. For Kelly, I just need someone in her sphere to acknowledge that she has problems and that she has "minders" -- and I'd love it if she wasn't so rich. <sigh> But that's not gonna change. Kelly crazy AND broke? Tell me another horror story, mommy.

ETA: Coming back to say that in this day and age, celebrities and politicians rewriting history is common. And it's made me very weary. Give them two years and suddenly they'll both STILL BE AROUND saying they quit, that Bravo begged them to return, that they've made a billion dollars since leaving, that they're weighing new offers left and right ... wait. That's now. In any case, time heals all wounds and makes bad memories less painful -- why is it important to remember? So history doesn't repeat. I was so afraid one day Charlie Sheen would return to 2 1/2 men ... then they killed the character. But as a former soap watcher, that don't mean nada. And what does that mean about us, the audience? That they don't give a shit about us, just about profit. I know, I know, why should they?

I can't think of a reason. We live in the land of plenty and land of starvation. More than enough for those who have, never enough for the rest.

</stopping philosophizing immediately!>

Lol, that would be a good start bk. I'm just thankful she is off my TV. That's usually good enough for me but I do wish it bothered her a bit. [Or that anything bothered her at all.] I do enjoy some ho-wife schadenfreude from time to time.

First she has to do Bethenny Gets Divorced and Bethenny's Custody Battle then Bethenny Starts Over.

REgarding Kelly, I am glad she is gone. But I would have loved to have seen her in real life! I think she wears some clothes fabulously and I covet her closet and apartment. And she does love her girls. I do think she is out of touch with reality.

:D Finestra

I would be excited about seeing Kelly in real life too (and come and report every detail), and thank you for sharing, bkleinshmidt.

I'm not going to miss Kelly on the show, but I didn't mind watching her. She was reality show gold at times and provided plenty to comment on. I am just SO glad that Alex, Simon and most especially Jill got cut. That was awesome.

I would have picked Kelly to stay over Ramona, because I find Ramona very unlikeable and her product-shilling, family life with Mario and her daughter, her drinking, and frankly, her, very boring.
