Lol andme! Same here. But then I went to a state school (as did almost everyone I knew) and in those days (early 80s) it was a big deal just to go to college since maybe about 10-20% of kids did. I just picked the university farthest away on the opposite side of the state - 6 hour drive over a mountain pass, lol. My parents were alums. There was one Dad's weekend during football season and one Mom's weekend in the spring but other than that we had weekends to ourselves and so much fun I dreaded coming home on vacations, lol. |

That's funny. I think my school must have had parents' weekend, but my parents never went, nor did any of my friends' parents. |

My parents never came to mine either, but we always mooched meals of parents who did come. Back then the drinking age was lower, 18, then 19, then 21. And we kept getting grandfathered in. Every social event at the school sold beer for $.25 a big red solo cup. No wonder we were never sober. |

Yeah, Jill has been down there a lot. I think Ally is a senior this year. She has her own apartment with friends, furnished by Jill. |

I don't think Jill was odd man out because I remember a photo of her and other Vandy moms all in a line. We didn't go to parents weekend this year, but then my son called and asked if we were ever coming down. So I went down for the day, brought him food, cleaned his kitchen and took him and his friends to dinner. Just enough time for him to want me to leave! |

You didn't need a state school to drink. We did at UPenn - we had Twofer Tuesdays at OFish. I know we were always grandfathered. My sister wasn't by one year when it turned 21 but nobody really checked or you used those fake ids no problem in NYC back then |

We actually had a school sponsored "Float a Keg" contest with teams of 20 or 25. Everyone was drunk within an hour. |

Jill is out of her mind for hanging around the Lohans. I am surprised Lindsay hasn't stolen all of Jill's jewelry by now.

Yeah, I don't get the Lohan friendship either. For publicity? |

I don't get it AT ALL. At least Jill's jewelry is costume. OH i mean her line. I'm sure her other stuff is in a safe in the house like everyone else I know or a box at the banks.

The Lohans are really antithetical to everything that Jill values. They are probably mooching off her all the time. |

Jill is a famewhore. All Dina Lohan has is fame (imfamy?) and that's only because she raised such a wreck of a daughter who actually had some talent at one time. Jill is drawn to the spotlight like a moth to a flame. |
