I don't complain if wealthy people want to treat me. ;) However, I am aware that I've incurred a different kind of debt. I thought Jill was two-minded about that -- she did feel that she wanted to pay for things, she is aware that she has wealth. BUT she also felt it earned her the right to have a say and matter more. If you asked her, she'd say "oh, no, of course not" but that is what I saw in her attitude during the whole Bethenny vs. Jill fracas. She mentioned too many times how much she helped Bethenny. It's a difficult concept, but IMO when you give a gift, it has no strings attached. And when you lend money, it'd better be a gift because chances are you won't get it back. That one is the toughest. |

Yep, yep and yep. If I were her friend I would have to be in the "fabulous circle" and pay her way once and a while, because Jill for sure won't let you forget anything she pays for you. But I also think Bethenny knows how to latch on to get freebies. |

I get that ccc. That's how I feel about Ramona. I like that she made her own money and I find her crazy entertaining most of the time. |

I watched Jill on the Oprah show. She did come off well as others have stated above. I always liked Jill and felt sorry for her. She's a middle aged woman desperate to be special in the eyes of her shrew of a mother and her more traditionally successful sister. Everything she does, all the stuff that makes us cringe and say "Oh Jill, no...." comes from that sad, desperate to please, always second best (if not actually further down the pecking order) little girl in her. It is a damn pity she just can't relax and enjoy the truly fabulous life that she has. |

I think she does enjoy her life. I think she's somewhat bored and had a chance at fame and blew it - although she has infamy amongst many and her name is pretty widely known amongst a certain type of group. Seriously, even Bethenny, who was on the cover of Forbes, is less widely known than she thinks. They live in dream worlds. Jill reaches for that ring she can't get on the carousel. Whatever I'll say again. She's entertaining to me and if not to you - why bother reading or watching her? Pass her by. I would love her back on RHONY. I find it boring although I'll still watch. Guest spot would make me happy. None of the current women are any better. They are all awful but I'd love to hang with Carol. |

Carol was on WWHL last night - just briefly stopped by to pimp her new book out today and have a drink. She was dressed to go out and I thought she looked amazing. I loved that dress and her hair wasn't all BH/OC scraggly. |

I just wish she could get her teeth fixed, but I think that's the structure of her face that pushes them forward. |

There's a half-hour preview of the new season on this evening - 10 and 10:30 repeat Eastern ST. Is the second half of last season's reunion worth watching? It repeats this afternoon and I've never seen it. My episode guide says the hws give LuAnn a hard time about the pirate, which might be fun to watch. |

Kelly is on her way to the Oscars I think. She tweeted something about giving a behind the scenes look. Lucky. Weaver I have been thinking about you. Haute Look and another site have been doing a ton of Vintage LV and Hermes bags and belts and the like. I love the the red shiny LV bags. I would take one in a minute. Don't have $2000 though. If you had one bag to pick - what would it be A tote - A purse - An evening bag - |

I love that vernis fabric LV makes. I have a red key case. I sold my LV neverfull tote, don't usually use evening bags, I use LV mini pochettes if I go out to dinner, and now I only wear crossbody bags, and light ones. Oh I did buy one LV this year, the Favorite. It's light and holds as much as I need. Shoulder bag. I don't really like the very structured bags they are featuring now. Reminds me too much of the ones I used as a kid and my mother's bags. |

The never full totes are always around $900 on those sites. If I am going to spend that, I might as well spend the extra couple hundred and get a new one. Because I always have an extra $1000 to spend on a bag. ;) But if I could splurge right now and not worry about college funds and the like, I would get one. Here is the red I love. I would take it in almost any style. I love the handles too. http://www.louisvuitton.com/front/#/eng_US/Collections/Women/Handbags/products/Alma-PM-MONOGRAM-VERNIS-M90096 |

That's pretty Fin - I have an ancient one that's tossed around the closet - unlike the way the ho's treat their bags. I haven't used it in 25 years. They'd be horrified how I treat my bags and shoes. It's a classic type shoulder bag not a tote. I used to have a clutch but it vanished. I like the one you like but I don't think I'd buy a LV anymore for personal reasons. Love the shiny leather. |

Oh, that is really a classic, the Alma. I love it in the vernis. Its gorgeous. That's the color of my keycase and it has lasted forever. I can always see it in whatever I'm carrying because of the color. Can't go wrong with an Alma ever. It will always resell too. Yeah the Neverfulls go for $900 or so for a good one, and now LV has increased the price enormously because the new version has a pochette inside. I think I got $900 (I had the Damier Ebene) and mine was pristine. Its a very handy bag have to say. I probably should have kept it. Actually my all time favorite tote is the Longchamp pliage, light as a feather and you can throw it anwhere. I like some of the Empriente leather bags LV are featuring, but the prices???? Off the wall. |
