Apparently the show has a "tell." Historically the winner has always been seated to Trump's left. John Rich, Joan Rivers, etc., etc. So those who were familiar with the ins and outs of the show knew instantly who would win, once the two finalists took their seats last night. sigh..... |

I haven't watched yet and didn't care who won, but I've heard it all over the place already. I kinda thought "Mr Trump" would revel in the association with Magic Johnson. So I picked Arsenio just for that reason. Magic Johnson's foundation is highly rated by Charity Navigator and I wonder sometimes about these smaller charities. They aren't always managed well and you don't know where your money is going. |

www.guidestar.org is a great site for looking up charities. They have their 1099's for the past 3-4 years and they are pretty interesting to read. You do have to register to pull up the info. but it's free. A lot of the info. in the 1099's goes right over my head but I always look to see how much the charity has in revenue and how much of that goes back out in salaries, office expenses, payments to consultants, etc. |

Folks over at TWOP actually looked up Clay's charity and there's another rating organization that gives stars and I wanna say MJ's was 4 stars and Clay's was 4.5...so while Clay's might be small they are recognized as a good charity. |

Finally watched the show, and I thought Clay's show was better. Plus his team earned moRe money. So who knows why he picked Arsenio. Is Arsenio getting a TV show or something? Speaking of celeb charities ,The New York Post exposed Mary J Blige's yesterday. Bills not paid, no accounting for the money going out. It seems none did. And she sells a lot of her fragrance on HSN saying a portion of the proceeds goes to the charity. Edited by weaver, May 28 2012, 09:52 AM.

I ended up deleting about 5 episodes without watching. For some reason, this season didn't interest me. Sounds like Lisa was an ass. |

Oh, no, not an all star Celebrity Apprentice. And not Omarosa. I think I'll pass. Joan Rivers might make me watch, but she's not on. And adding to the old discussion about celebrity charities above in the thread, the Times did a story today about Wyclef John's charity that raised millions for Haiti. It is essentially out of business, with no record of accomplishment. Lots of $$$ for administrative costs and celebrity trips. Always thought he was a scam artist. I'm not sure I'm going to watch this one, either. Weaver, I'm with you; if Joan were on it, I would watch it in a heartbeat. |

Cajun - can't believe I missed your post. I'm all in - it's a train wreck and I love it. Dennis Rodman's mouth (specifically that lip ring) looks so diseased to me - but alas, he's breaking out as my favorite. His comments about Omarosa's break down had me howling. |
