I love fashion shows and thought it was terrible. Elle McPherson is the host. She really does look a lot like Kelly B, but Botoxed. A frantic procession of designers and clothes marched down the runway and buyers from Macy's, Saks, and H/M decided whether or not they were sales worthy after Nicole Ritchie, Jessica Simpson, and John Varvatos had given their take. Who wudda thunk Jessica Simpson made the most sense and came across the nicest. Might give it one more go, but there are so many designers and it got very confusing. And of course they kept the person with the worst clothes, because he is short, jumps up and down, and has a sob story. |

I watched it weaver. I'll try it again next week. Actually what I liked were the buyers, and their rationale. As much as I love Project Runway, you know that there are things that traipse down that runway that a real woman could never wear. So it was nice to hear they buyers talk about customers and real women. |

Just saw they're re-running it on Saturday night. I think I'll give it a shot. |

The buyers were good. The concept is good, and I hope future shows are better edited. It is nice to see real clothes. But when I see people like Oscar and his lengthy backstory and his everpresent tears, I get a bit concerned. |

I watched the first twenty minutes and I'm done. There is more emphasis on blaring music, flashing neon lights and confused scenes with customers than there is on the clothes. You hardly see the clothes. Then you can't remember who designed what when you see the models tromping hurriedly down the runway. I hope Oscar went but I really don't care. This show needs a serious edit. I saw the zippered black skirt from last week in Saks window this week; actually it looked pretty good but didn't knock your socks off. It had a window to itself, a side window, but in a good spot. |
