Just watched the premiere. Feel like I just got off a bucking bronco. What a ride! I think I'll check out the next few episodes, too. I'll bet Ashley Judd was sore beyond belief after this episode was filmed. Kicked, punched, shoved to the ground and shot. Ow, ow, ow. And what amazing condition she must have been in to even attempt the physical stuff they put her through in this first episode. |

I'm going to check it out later (when it comes on) too. This is "Taken" with the gender roles reversed. How did she remove her high heeled strappy sandals during that fight? Still like it though! (LOVED "Taken.") |

I'll keep watching, but it's such a complete rip off of Taken that I can't see how they are going to sustain this. In Taken, have of the wonderfulness was so much happening in under two hours. Oh, and Liam. Is she just going to chase after her son for 5 years until they get syndication? Or find him and then be back in the CIA? What? I could buy Jen Garner in all the fights, because she was much younger and in terrific shape, but I am having trouble believing a 43 year old woman who has been out of the business for so long is this able to take punches and fight like that. I'm suspending disbelief there, but though pretty good now, it's got to change significantly to have any longevity. Or does it? |

I watched, Mariah. Thought it was good. Although I was very skeptical about the hostage exchange. It was obvious that wasn't her son when they kept his head covered to conceal his identity. The constant cat-and-mouse, which will go on because the series demands it (there's no more show if she ever finds her son)? The end of last night's episode was exhausting and heart-wrenching. Not sure how much I can take of that on a weekly basis. I do find Ashley Judd quite believable, though. |

Love Ashley Judd. A friend of mine worked for her and his opinion is very high -- thinks she's great and genuine. And he's a tough cookie for character judging, so I trust him. I'd totally watch this series. Except it deals with a lost child -- no matter his age. I can't stand that. TAKEN worked because he found her (and she was still a virgin! Amazing. ;) ) in 2 hours, as Mariah points out. The ride had a happy ending and you sort of knew that from the start. With a series it will drag on too long, almost no matter what. <sigh> Tell me if I'm wrong and I'll catch up somehow. |

Well, the "child" is 19 or so, so even though it's sad, he's not really a young boy. Also, no indication of sex being involved makes it a bit less creepy. Obviously someone took the kid for a reason. I think the "reason" will be the show's mystery or resolve. Is it her ex (dead right?) husband who maybe isn't as dead (if he is supposed to be) or someone who needs something the mother has/knows or needs to control her for some reason? Not sure. Kidnapping a spy's male kid sounds like a blackmail thing or extortion thing, not for money, but for something else, her skills, her secrets, or the kid's dad perhaps, which would explain the pictures of him as a kid. She was obviously a master spy, more secret than most, and for that reason I find it hard to believe her agency would let her "retire." So maybe it's her own agency behind all of this, simply to get her back? Next show should give some clues to all of this, if they are smart. People want to "figure out" the mystery on shows, and so far, this one hasn't capitalized on that. WHY was her kid taken should be the focus, not simply his abduction and rescue, and they haven't done a great job of that so far. I miss Alias. |

I go the series in the Rambaldi Box, and every so often think I will just watch one episode, and I end up watching the whole thing again. Head's up. Missing is on tonight, and I kind of hope the pick up the pace with the REASON why her kid was taken, because if not, this will be turning into a pretty boring action series, pointless, well acted, but I don't want to invest in a female version of constant chase scenes and fights. |

I'll probably watch tonight. Previews suggest there's gonna be a lot of pretty exterior shots around Europe. So I'm in for that. Hmmm. Somehow I think that's not the reaction producers were hoping for. lolol |

What is WITH ABC? Another repeat? I hate the way they are scheduling programing! Repeats, weeks between episodes of Revenge. WTF? This show is just catching on and they can't bother to air new episodes? grrrr |

Wasn't it on at 7pm (central).... maybe that was a little too early for that kind of show? Mr. Disco and I watched it several times and it wasn't that bad. Maybe it will be saved by TNT or TBS? |

Tonight was so good! I am seriously bummed that it was cancelled. It started slow, but then went wild. |
