I'm so sure that her daddy was going to buy her an apartment. Her SUGAR daddy! "Faja" is the new "Big Poppa"!

For someone whose daddy was buying her a $7million apt, Cora's hair and clothes were pretty downscale. And I don't think that area appeals to someone her age. It might appeal to an Arab princess who comes and goes and wants to be in Midtown for shopping expeditions. Did you notice the new construction you could see out of the window? I think that is where they had the crane accident during Sandy.

I thought last week Ryan sold the one and only three bedroom that would ever be available in Battery Park City to the Chinese lady with the bows. Now this week Luis is selling the last three bedroom available.

I do love Frederik. When he is all enraptured he says "this is Lispinard," but when he gets a lower offer he says "this is Lispinard, not Mercer." He is good. (even though I think it is all reenacted or scripted).

UPTOWN apartments please.......................

Just when I think Fredrik is a jerk, I see him with his dogs and fall in love with him again. Of course I have two doxies also and nearly named one of them "Mouse" cause that is just what she look like at 8 weeks.

Good point, weaver. She seemed a little low rent.

And..I didn't think the "best stager in the city" was that great.

And for $25K?????? I don't think so.

Not being a home owner, I don't know the advantage to the seller of "all cash." Doesn't the seller get all cash regardless of how the buyer finances it? Or is it just faster when its all cash?

I think a lot of deals fall through. If it's all cash, perhaps they're less likely to not be good and waste the seller's time? We need Velvet to answer that!

All cash can mean, no waiting, no bank inspections required, and yes, no deals falling through. Banks have really tightened things up about loaning too. Someone may have the cash but an imperfect credit rating, so you wait months and then the loaner finally balks.

It took about 4 months to close on my house. Part of that was bank errors, but believe me, my seller would have jumped at even less money if it was all cash. She needed to sell, and sell quickly.

Cora was a plant of some sort - I can't decide if Ryan or Bravo put her up to it or if she was just some Random on the street who wanted to be on TV. She could hardly keep a straight face. Her calling w/ the lowball answer was just another attempt to be on camera.

I think most of these scenes are reenacted, with some embellishment, after the fact, or before the fact, or in lieu of the fact.

http://www.nypost.com/p/news/local/manhattan/broker_real_faker_vhYvwYZXwljgulLIBtZolI

"A slick Manhattan real-estate broker is being investigated by the state after clumsily doctoring photos of a Greenwich Village town house to make it look less tacky for an episode of the network’s popular “Million Dollar Listing New York” show.

Luis Ortiz, 26, was shown casually Photoshopping hardwood floors and new marble countertops into promotional pictures of a $7 million-plus property during an episode that aired in May.

On the show — which features mouth-watering looks at fantastic Manhattan properties for the super-rich — Ortiz and his twin brother, David, also photo-edited a new oven into pics of an outdated kitchen and even threw in a few bookshelves for good measure.

He told viewers that the Downing Street home’s interior was so shabby, he had no choice but to get creative.

“If I put the real photos out there, nobody would come inside,” he said during the show. “A little white lie isn’t going to kill anybody!”"

Poor Luis!

Last night's was dull. I hope thatBoise woman was an actress! Two of the apartments, the first two Ryan showed hEr, are right near me, Sutton Place and Sterling Plaza (owned by the owner of the Mets, Wilpon). It's a soso building right on a noisy bus street. They are doing a huge external renovation now.

Sutton Place has loads oF beautiful, old buildings. I love it. But many of the people have lived in their apartments for 50 60 years, and have never renovated. Loads of families have been moving in there the last 5 to 10 years cuz many of the apts are huge.

On one hand, I felt bad for him, spending 5k on that party. On the other hand, what a dunce. Fredrick gave him a freaking road map: day time, stick to the facts. Luis just can't help himself.

I was surprised in that article to find that Luis and David are twins.
