We will probably watch tonight/tomorrow night. Don't worry about spoiling for me. Oleander watched I think.

We watched.

Okay. Why the hell wouldn't Carrie let Quinn go through with it? Because they wouldn't be able to get Quinn out of the country on one of the transports? They couldn't smuggle him out any other way?

And why are the germans so good at figuring out the cell phones but we aren't? And can we still do it to find Al quani?

So can't remember quinn's boss's name, but I guess he might be the guy at the CIA who was the mole the whole time?

I think maybe the risk was just too big? Dar Adal said that they were going to be responsible for their own retraction. detraction? Whatever. They had to get out on their own. And did Quinn even tell Carrie he was doing another mission? Obviously Quinn will probably die or something and Carrie will blame herself some more.

Have to be honest - I am not here for the Quinn/Carrie pairing. Ugh. Too much crazy in one couple. He should stick with the German woman.

Love this show - I wish they would stop forcing relationships on these people. I don't care who Carrie is banging, nor do I care to know about her long lost mother or her secret child brother. Homeland is good when it sticks to what it knows best - terrorism. I hope typing that word doesn't put me on some list somewhere. If so - hey, NSA, just joking, and if you need another employee to do whatevs, call me.

ITA - I don't want to see Carrie with Quinn. I am not in it for a love story. Haven't seen the finale yet. That red headed baby freaks me out.

I don't care about carrie and Quinn it's been building all season and seasons past actually. He just loves her. She did not know about the mission. It was secret. She figured it out when the cell went dark. I guess the mother story had to get her out of city and give her no time to get to Quinn. Also background about why she thinks she can't sustain a relationship and picks guys she knows will end badly interesting ending. Very intellectual vs crazy violence and action.

I think a Carrie/Quinn relationship would be stupid. Joanie loves Cha Chi to quote Dodgeball! Her whole mom story arc was kind of BS. I had to do one thing right, so I abandoned my daughters to raise a baby? Um okay I guess. Stupid.

That red headed baby - yikes every time I look at it. I think they did reverse time lapse photography on Brody.

So has Saul lost his moral compass? Is Dar really doing the right thing? Did he make a copy of the Saul tape anyway to blackmail Saul with in the future?

We exchanged prisoners for Saul and no one knows about it right?

Finally watched the finale. Don't know what I was expecting, but I was kind of disappointed.

It was anti-climactic.

The former spies behind shows like Homeland and The Americans. (Baer also consulted, did the commentary on RED.) Cross posting this on both shows.

Mariah is the Americans worth starting? I am almost caught up on Scandal. Would my husband like it? We finished True Detective which we both loved. I just can't get invested in Breaking Bad which I know is blasphemy!

I adore The Americans. I didn't love THIS season opener for a couple of reasons, but it still rocked. First two seasons were stellar.

It's rivaling Mad Med for "great TV" to me.

Did anyone watch last night? They jumped ahead two years. Carrie is out of the CIA and providing private security to a foundation that is the antithesis to the CIA purportedly to atone for her CIA sins. They are very current with the ISIS/Syrian Rebels/Assad thing.

F. Murray Abraham's hair looks so fake. I just don't get it.

I did, but only because of a surprise free trial of SHOWTIME!

It was good.
