I am not sure, and I doubt I know enough about the show to guess. So I'll guess. ;) He's about to be set up by the German station chief and his boss to take the fall for the security leak obviously, and I can't tell how much he's just playing the game, or if he will even catch on to their game in time. Then again, to get that high in the CIA, you pretty much suspect everyone at all times. |

Well I thought the exploded the bomb-maker to make the Germans not so upset when the news broke that the Americans were spying for the Germans, kind of a "See we have terrorists in our midst! One just exploded himself making a bomb!! We needed the Americans to spy!" But now that they are going to continue, I think Saul is just fighting terrorism. It looks like a good season. I was surprised the Hezobollah guy let her go considering she killed his brother, and she is a woman. |

That part didn't surprise me, partially because she's the star of the show, but also because in the canon of the show, she is extremely well informed about the middle east. So, in my version, she knows very well that he reports to someone higher. He's a leader in a revolutionary group, not your media-lead-belief-all-these-guys-are-insane guy. He was obliged to pass on her message, he's working for a higher cause (in his mind) AND the group she is now working for not only has given them money in the past (the gym) but fulling intends to not only give them MORE money ("I realize this will cause greater security expenses for you, we will be happy to pay you directly, or send the money on to whomever you please.") AND is about to not only write a huge check, but get 5 other wealthy men to write huge checks to get food and medical care for the Muslim refugees they are now inundated with. Even if he were the sole leader, I can't see him ignoring all that money for mere revenge. Interesting idea about Saul's actions, you probably know more than I do. I didn't think of the idea he did that for press, but of course that would be a factor. Good catch! (In my defense, my brain is clouded by a so-far two week long cold or flu.) |

I watched the first two years, then gave it up. I've watched the first two epis of this year, and I'm in it again. Gotta see if I can binge watch last year's. I read that it was good. |

Loving it and thank god my dh still can follow with his bad eyesight. Ita his favorite show I still love Quinn. He's the heart, souls and conscience of the show. I guess this is how they home back together with Carrie after he basically took a suicide mission last season. Do not kill him off or I may be gone |

First epi of The Affair was great. Second was a bit slow paced, but good. All in all I'm enjoying it. I just love Ruth Wilson. |

Yeah, me too. But I watched Homeland today. A few surprises. All in all pretty good. Now I have Downtown Abbey, The Affair, and The Good Wife. To go. And more baseball tomorrow. Oh and a new Doc Martin tonight, but that's been getting dull. |

The Affair really dragged this week too. We need more Helen. Alison and Noah are getting very stale together. This baseball is killing me. I can't believe the Mets. |

Me too Weaver with the baseball. We are diehards over here. We were able to go to the first home game of the NLDS. So much fun. I am missing all of my stories! Haha. |

We did a Homeland marathon last night, and I have to say I think I am going to like this season. I think Quinn's GF in the German spy agency is going to end up being a Carrie ally. And I think the female CIA station chief is selling her out because she is jealous of Saul's relationship with Carrie. I can't believe that Saul would be the one behind it. Who can remember if the Al Quaeda guy in Pakistan ended up dying last year? The guy who drove off with Ben Kingsley when Carrie was going to shoot him? And what happened to the Pakistani intelligence officer? What happened at the end of last season? I feel like we are missing something? Did Carrie come back to the states and just be in the States looking for her mom? I can't remember how last season ended! |
