For Bravo shows that can't sustain a thread all by their lonesome. People's Couch I believe is getting good reviews. They are upping it to an hour. My favorite so far are the girls with the Chiuaua's and the Black family. I HATE the white family that comments from the bed. The gays and the old ladies are decent. Game of Crowns - Carpet matches the drapes. Yuck. However I think around the vajazzeling time (might have been parship) there's folks who have dyed their pub's colors...again YUCK. Fashion Queens - am I the only one watching this? Two snaps in Z formation :) |

I like People's Couch. The bed family - oy. I like the old ladies too. I think I am definitely in on the London show. Maybe the Beauty pageant show if I can stand the white trashiness of the women. |

haha. I loved Viv's clarifying that George is a pervert, not a pedophile. Big distinction, but dingbat Ramoner didn't get it. |

Okay, the People's Couch. The bed family. The dad is asking the son if he is a breast guy or an ass guy and the kid says, "the whole thing." And I am thinking, one if not both of those boys may be gay. Meanwhile last night they showed the gay wedding on Modern Family and the Normal Heart. And they never show Modern Family. And most of the couch families seem to have a gay member. I think this is Andy's subtle way of trying to show people that we all have a gay friend, neighbors and/or family members. |

I watched the London Ho's show. There is one interesting person on it, Annabelle. She apparently really was a muse of Alexander McQueen. But the show seems to be dominated by trashy American blonds who made it big as glamour models and then married or hooked up with rich Brits. Then there is a lot of "oh, that's so American" talk, scripted I'm sure. I'd like to see more of Annabelle, but not sure if I care enough to watch. The Brits on the show even hang around with Fergie's daughters, how much higher on the social scale can you get? :) |

See Fin you just articulated everything I hate about the bed family. 1) firstly what dad asks their teenage sons that question, let alone in front of mom 2) what family w/ grown ass boys watches tv in bed together 3) and yes both ping my gaydar (that's not what I hate, but trying to pass them off as gay is just stupid) |

Wait... The boys in the bed family aren't gay? I do like how close they are, though. And I was so impressed with how comfortable the parents were with their two gay sons. Oops. |

Sometimes I think the People's Couch is a test as in "We put a bunch of gay people on this show, can you tell?" I love the three old ladies. They remind me of my grandmother. She liked Cheech and Chong. I like the family with the son and the two black girls - I think these two groups are the most natural in their responses. The white girls with the dog are growing on me. The one on the right wants to be on tv too much (she thinks she is a Julia Roberts look alike and definitely does herself up for the show, so that's a negative for me). Oh and the dad with the three girls are growing on me too. One of those girls is really stupid. ETA - I am trying to describe the groups and I am not trying to offend anyone by my description, so just for clarification - does it offend anyone that I said the "2 black girls" nd the "2 white girls with the dogs" Should I have described them differently? I'm shocked...not really Disco. She basically admitted she was his personal kept woman right? The only BravoTV miss for me this season (besides that awful summer commercial - I hate that song and the circus theme) is the divorce lawyer show. Ugh awful. |

I'm liking Ladies of London. Maybe it's the accents, or the change from American scenery, but so far (first episode) I think it may have promise. |

Oh Mariah, the only reason I posted it was the "double wide trailer" aspect. Another Tamra! See, I kind of liked the Divorce lawyer show for 2 reasons: #1, I thought it was kind of interesting to see how the guys appraised the items and #2 it's only half an hour long ;) |

I missed the divorce lawyer. I wonder if I know any of the divorcing couples! I want to watch that one. Gee a second kept woman - Kim Z was the first. Official courtesans right? That's bullshit right there. Divorce the wife before your girlfriend goes on tv and causes humiliation to your wife and kids. |
