I watched the Ladies of London. I am having trouble with the blondes and keeping them straight, but Juliet or Julie is just too much. Is it her role to be uncouth, rude American? Hello Lord, can I use the loo? She clearly has watched a lot of HW and has adopted the,"but I am just being honest" excuse for saying whatever shit she wants and thinking that excuses it. But all on all, I think I like it.

I like how they juxtaposed the real lord and lady who clearly are used to being interviewed about their home and don't have any understanding about famewhores or reality tv. They just couldn't understand how three guests could get up between courses and disappear from the table for 10 minutes or so and keep a course and all the the other guests waiting to eat it.

Is Terry Dubrow as big a bitchy famewhore as he is on OC?
I didn't THINK so! Shocker! Maybe because the clients are so nuts (ie. Janice Dickinson) that both Dr.'s seemed GREAT- and both looked like 100% more attractive than they ever did on Bravo. I really liked this show. I also LOVE Ladies of London. This week, seeing the Manor of Lord Sandwich was just so OMGosh Downton Abbey-ish for me!

Annabelle's first husband. The family was appalled when he married her, he's now dating Ivanka and Natalie Portman, among others.
Both married with children :) Hope they are not still dating! LOL

Mariah - aren't Natalie Portman and Ivanka both married with children? I'm confused. I'll have to go back and read the article. Too bad he isn't 55
Cool article. It said he had a 'fling' with Ivanka, and then went on a date with Natalie while she was filming 'The Other Boleyn Girl'. But that was a while ago- it doesn't say when that piece was written; or if it does I couldn't see it.

I didn't watch yet but that earl is really low on the totem pole. the town is not very exclusive. any questions - ask away. Dh will answer if he can. He actually will watch this with me. He even said the one who acts like a brit snob married to the arab is lower class than she says. He says nobody would marry like she did. she is a distant relative of upper crust. Married rich bc even though she had upper crust blood her family was probably poor. There are many like that.

Well I watched the People's Couch last night and the Couchies are all getting a little too flip and practiced. I enjoy them, but they are too camera aware now. Everyone has a one liner. Especially the three gay guys on the couch. I did like the bed family story about the dad asking the mom for a 5 year plan list and she put down, "Blinds for the Dining Room."

About the Annabel that was allegedly the former muse of Alexander McQueen? I thought he had a different (more famous) muse- who has passed away? Her name is escaping my menopause brain?! Also- Annabel's family title- was gotten because a relative KILLED someone for the royal family?! Is this true? Is this common? Is this frowned upon- or any Title is a-ok? I would LOVE any dish your Husband feels like talking about!

What about (can't remember her name!) engaged to Scott- the Guy that tried to hide his $$ and went to jail for it? How will that affect them down the line? Will society accept them again?

So Caprice- is such a brown-noser to the Brits and so down on the Americans(and she is one!). I understand needing to assimilate and that Juliet the American is cringe-worthy- but what do they REALLY think about someone like Caprice?

Anything he wants to share! LOL I LOVE this show- so glad some of you are watching!

What was your Husband's upbringing like- if that's not too personal? over there.

Is Juliet like a plant by Bravo to be the uncouth american to get a reaction out of everyone else?

Marissa is the one that everyone likes who has the husband/boyfriend who owns the clubs.

I can't keep the others straight.

Perhaps Juliet is. She is so annoying I can barely stand the show bc of her. Again I'll ask how she snagged her dh - she must have shagged him w/o bc

Isabella Blow was McQueens muse. He ditched her when he went big time, and it was thought it might have contributed to her later suicide. where Annabelle fit in, I don't know.

I figured the Brit married to the Arab must have fallen on hard financial times. They do seem to attach so much importance to the aristocratic connections.

ok. Ladies of London.... Anabelle did NOT fall off that horse the day of filming. When she first gets to the stable and the horse is being held in an opening in the barn it was AFTER her ride. Her hair is all messed up, and the horse has had a bath and you can see the saddle mark from the sweat. After that scene when she mounts her hair looks more neat, like it's had a recent blowout (Ramona). She did not get hurt that day.

Just sayin'

You're telling me its scripted? Nooooooooo. From what I've read, Alexander McQueen was called Lee in real life, so the fact that she always calls him Alexondah shows me they are feeding her the lines.

I cannot stand that loudmouth American.

I watched People's Couch last night and it was actually pretty funny. They did the new Voice copycat show and watching the reactions of the couches was cute.

They did Kandi's wedding. No one objected to the prenup. I thought it was ridiculous of Kandi to expect Todd to give everything up post marriage. But not the couch families. But they all hated mama joyce. A couple of the families knew the The Queen to Be song and they sang along which was really cute.

We lost power and my DVR didn't record People's Cough. I shed a tear. It better damn repeat! I love that show. I laugh so hard. Love all the couches. Do you think the exterior of their houses is fake? I do. I am dying to find out.

They made it seem like the fall was when she was galloping, in that scene. Which is wasn't. She completed that ride, is my point, as there is evidence she was filmed after. IMHO she could have broken her pelvis getting on, getting kicked, dismounting or falling down the stairs for that matter. She said she was going "45 miles per hour" that is bullshit. Unless she is a trained jockey that can count the fractions of the distance in her head she has no idea how fast she was going. Also there is no way they would let celebrities ride a full on fast fast fast racehorse. They are riding retirees, or ones on the way down I am sure that are safer and more seasoned.

The accident was probably the rider's fault, it almost always is with amateurs. And the horse and the sport gets blamed and it sucks.
