Preface This is not a racial rant. I'm not dissin' the man, I don't know him. But it seems awfully strange how he appeared outta nowhere and overtook Hillary. I noticed this while browsing Wikipedia, commonplace on slow nights.
As the American, and most foreign, viewers probably know, there has been major buzz about Barack Obama and the high likelihood he will get in the White House. He is promising to pull troops out of Iraq (peace?) If you look at the quote from the Antichrist entry you notice that the Antichrist is believed, by some, to be assassinated midway through his reign. If Obama were to be re-elected that would be in November of 2012, a month prior to the possible end of the world supposedly predicted by the Mayans (some say its further off). That's all I got right now . Just some really interesting coincidences.

I will say though that Obama probably has a higher chance of being assassinated than the others. Not trying to imply that America is violent or backwards or anything, but this is an extremely new thing for any Western nation. Whoever wins, it's a landmark election. As for the Mayan "calendar": it's to be taken with a grain of salt. The Long Count calendar has the connection between December 2012 and the end of the world, but that connection is probably a misinterpretation. |

Obama isn't. Here's why. Barack Obama is promising a ton, but he's an average politician. He's the appealing candidate to the Y (Our) Generation, because we see the mess the current government has left and go OMG WE NEED CHANGE SOON. Thing is, who's going to make that change, Mr. Obama? Well, you are, of course, America. And then shit's going to hit the fan. Common sense says the mentality isn't going to be "hope", because we've grown impatient and probably will expect miracles as soon as Mr. Hussein Obama takes office. (Yes, I went there.) How Obama will kill us all: Anyhow, World War Three is inevitable soon. It WILL happen within the next decade. Guaranteed. Without a doubt. Look at the rising oil prices. America can't survive, and when America needs to survive on something, we're going to start taking it. Guaranteed, in order to Change, Obama is going to swiftly wipe Ahmadinejad clean off the map. OPEC, which doesn't involve America, is going to retaliate. It will be the Western World vs. The Eastern World. Here's how it'll start, play by play. Gas will start hitting $10 a gallon. Cars will be parked rather than used. Theft and Crime will increase dramatically. Obama will tap America's gas reserve in order to flush the market. OPEC will not be happy. Rather than having a positive effect, it'll backlash and double in price per barrel. Using the influence of the UN, Obama will place sanctions on Iran and slap them on the wrist. No harm done, right? Wrong. Iran will withdraw it's oil from the Western World, as a supposedly temporary motion. China and Russia, seeing the benefit of this, will kiss-ass OPEC, who themselves in order to survive need to sell the oil, start selling it to China. China, then, stops making all the cheap goods we Americans are forced into buying. (For instance, the very components that make the computer you're using at the moment. Stop and look around, how much of that is made in China?) A Cold War blisters for months. Repression forms depression. With depression comes war. Obama sees no other option. Within weeks of depression, all UN troops are pulled from Iraq. The United Nations uses small Nukes to erase Tehran's existence. China eliminates Japan and Alaska, America's largest Oil resource. American Pacific Territories are vaporized within hours. Pearl Harbor it ain't. How the rest goes will be time, but this is a very likely scenario of how WWIII will take place. This scenario actually scares me |

Warning to America: Kevin Rudd won the Australian federal election by promising change and mirroring the most vocal people. He has currently done nothing and plans to do even less. As for a new World War - oil is going to slowly be taken out of the economy, but not without significant setbacks. Environmentalism might become the next catalyst for the next World War (and we're overdue for one as it is). Here's why; the Western world has already started down the expensive road to cleaner energy. Make no mistake, this costs a fortune to go through with, and every man, woman and child will foot the bill. The eastern world, which is still developing, will not move towards clean energy; oil is far too potent to ignore, and with less of the western world using it, the east will move in. That in itself doesn't really matter, the oil industry was never going to be sustainable, but the pollution from those developing nations is going to become a significant issue, and somebody will run their mouth sooner or later and upset the east. In order to "protect the planet" a new alliance will be formed, aimed at lowering emissions... through use of force. Okay, maybe not, but we are overdue for a WW3 and nobody in their right mind would fight for a dependence on oil. Yes, right now, we do need oil, it's the basis of our economy, but moving away from oil is a far better option than fighting to secure it. Wars frequently start over imperialism; that's how it was in WW1, and to some extent in WW2. The question is, who wants to expand? |

The thing is this has nothing to do with Obama, It will (would've) happened no matter who gained to presidency. Their probably will be a war, and there's very little one can do to stop it. |
