Fisherman's Vow
Made for the same competition as "Something about a Mexican Fugitive."

The topic: Use the phrase "Jane wanted an apple, so she"

Coulda done better. Meh. This is my competitor's last entry:

So many good Ideas. So little flash utilities.

Torrents.

Anyway, yeah you're screwed. I've always supported your works, but your competitor's just completely obliterates most of the animation I've seen in the past. The plot is also well thought out.

If it means anything, yours had one moment where I gave the video a louder "heh".
Eh.

CJA...
Picasso had "Paloma with Celluloid Fish". Da Vinci had "The Soldier". You have "Fisherman's Vow."
Sometimes even the greatest don't make the best decisions.
"Fisherman's Vow" lacks a solid story. It seems randomly thrown together at best.
Fishermen and their tales are often associated with the hardships of the sea. Violent storms, horrible monsters...
The Loch Ness monster and it's pursuit is the job of a Scotsman or a conspiracy theorist.
Joining the two together is somewhat of a lackluster combination. Furthermore, you neglected a back story behind "Jane". Off hand, I can think of a few funny scenarios to explain. (Perhaps his boat was named Jane and the LNM tried to make love to it, or something.)

Simply put, visually, it's CJA. Original, witty, and full of character. The plot, however, fails to prove it can float.
I'm sorry, CJA. This will sink into the endless abyss of entries. It may sound rough, but I hold you to a much higher standard than that.
