Fuck China. This world is China's puppet. They have the American Economy by the throat. "All [they] have to do is squeeze" and the rest of the world could shatter. When it comes to buying your own country's flag- be you American, Australian, Dutch, German, Canadian, or what have you, having "Made in China" on your flag entirely contradicts your country's pride. The worst part about this is that it can't be stopped. People here in America think they're being incredibly patriotic by buying US Flags and those yellow magnetic ribbons in support of our troops, but what they don't realize is that China is getting a cut of each of those. The amount that America really gets out of that is a middle man's cut! In America, we have way too much Government in the wrong places. We don't put taxes on imports, only exports, and that's what's surrendering our economy to the fucking Chinese. America's immaculate steel industry was taken over by greedy CEOs who weakened the power of the Labor Unions and sent the steel mills to China because it was cheaper labor. As a result, millions of jobs were lost. People got poor. People turned to drugs. People turned to crime. People thought Communism lost when the USSR Fell in 1991. Communism gets the last laugh with the Fall of the American Dream to China. If I had the power, China would be wiped clean from the map. End China, and the World shall Prosper again. Each and every one of you could have a better paying job because you'd be doing the work that some miserable slave labored Mao-hugger is doing for as little pay possible. America is just too fucking dumb at this time to see that this is the BIG issue. Who gives a fuck about Obama's Change? Unless he brings back jobs to my country- or any country who has lost jobs to the Slave Labor of China- the politicians aren't worth it. |

My flag was made in the US. Also, all these industries would still be here were it not for the unions. Personally I think all the companies should have had clauses meticulously hidden w/i employment contracts/agreements so that they could fire every single union prick if they went on a dumbass strike. OMG, you won't let the union take over employee pensions, we're striking!!!! |

GUYS... WHAT ABOUT INDIA!? It sounds pretty impossible right now to just put an embargo on China, or even any time in the near future. The solution? We all become poor, go into poverty, do extremely hard labor for little pay, become the successor to China, and only then would we truly succeed. Wait... |

The problem I can see here is that developing nations, like China and India, who have absolutely no regard for the environment, will continue to rise in economic power, while the other developed nations will carry on our crusade for cleaner energy at an incredible cost. More manufacturing jobs will probably go over to places like China since China doesn't give a toss about pollution or harmful manufacturing methods, so it'll be cheaper and quicker to head to China. But at the same time, China probably won't be breathing their own air for much longer, given the amount of pollution in that district... |

So you see, China is killing themselves. There are 2 results that we can expect. A good and a bad. Good: China suffocates on it's own fumes and dies/has to migrate to other countries where they can no longer pollute the earth, and be forced to assimilate into other cultures. Bad: China mutates and we have to deal with monsters. Looking at the way the world's luck has been going, I'm going with the monsters. |

Thoughts on Russia vs. Georgia? Personally I think Russia is doing the right thing throwing so many troops against Georgia. Why would you be dumb enough to dick around in South Ossetia in the first place? Russia needs to tear the fuck out of some more cities, occupy the capitol for a few weeks, and then leave. Its obvious how the US interests work. We'll send troops to drive Iraq out of Kuwait all the way back to Baghdad and claim we're protecting freedom and then shit on Russia for pushing Georgia out of South Ossetia to their capitol because they supply us with, what, 300 troops to help us dick around in Iraq. |

Have to agree there, it is kind of hypocritical of the US to demand that Russia stop combat operations. But at the same time, I have to honestly say that I don't really care either way. Yes, it's terrible for the people who are living there, but their little conflict, right now, doesn't really affect me in any way, so I'm not really interested. |

I demand a change in the constitution so that Putin can be our president. We need someone who can get the job done and doesn't give a fuck what anyone thinks about it. He'll put his foot down on key issues like: 1. No more celebrities adopting kids from Africa. There are plenty of orphans here, you just wanna be a prick. 2. Child molesters get instant death, no questions. 3. Inmates are there to be punished. Not watch free cable, get decent meals, sit in the A/C, and have run of the place. 4. All death penalties are transferred to being shot in the back of the head thus causing them to fall into a giant pit. New sentences receive this within a week. 5. Invading a country is done right the first time. And the military has control over the operation, none of this warning shot shit. If one soldier dies then they get to level a block using those kickass ropes w/ C4 satchels (can't remember what they're called) Edited by Vicious1988, Aug 12 2008, 10:16 AM.

http://uk.news.yahoo.com/rtrs/20080814/video/vwl-georgian-tv-reporter-shot-on-camera-d7f4ae7.html Georgian reporter "shot" on TV. I lol'd so hard. Bitch got hit by shrapnel (possibly a stray bullet, highly doubt it), its a risk you take in a war zone. The media makes it sound like she was targeted by a Russian sniper a mile and a half away. |

Last week, I got a call from a guy who said that he needed some paramedics because he had some grazes on his knee and his pants were making them hurt. This week, I get the same guy, same problem, except this time he wanted the medics to change the dressing on his "wound". He got his medics. |

The people you deal with, I couldn't do it. Here I could have my right leg severed and I'd slap a tourniquet on the stump, throw the rest in a cooler, and learn to control the pedals with my left in a hurry. Since I don't have insurance every dollar I can save counts. Of course I tend to treat myself unless it absolutely needs medical opinion anyway. |

Not having medical insurance is terrible. Hospitalization in the US is expensive, but take my word, it's worth it. People can't afford that here, Soldant. That man would cost $2000+, easily. |

$80 on your electricity bill here in Queensland gets you free ambulance cover. But if you're from interstate and ask for an ambulance, it'll cost you somewhere around $1500. It used to be that you'd subscribe to the ambulance service by paying a yearly fee, at which point the service was free when you used it, but then the government decided to make everybody do it so now it's a taxi service. Here's another one for you: call from a woman who said she was in pain. I asked where she was. She said she was at the Accident and Emergency department of the biggest hospital in the city, and was tired of waiting for her sore throat to be looked at. She didn't get any medics. |
