I'm a huge TR fan and really enjoying this reboot. It's not perfect but best TR game in many, many years.

And if I may say so, what a charming smashing blouse you've got on

To be honest, I got so bored of ACIII that I'm temporarily back on Just Cause 2. Heaven.

See, I got bored of Just Cause 2 once the missions were over. Of which there are far too few to be honest.

After that it is just a case if rinse and repeat with regards clearing out villages. It needs much more variety in JC3 (which thankfully has been announced).

Interested in seeing what you think of that. You didn't ever play Midnight Club Los Angeles did you? I think it's fantastic and one of the best looking open world games I have ever seen. Curious to know how NFS compares

I did play MC:LA but didn't really rate it i think...I'd have to check my gamercard profile to make sure though.

Am liking NFSMW, but am missing 3 things: a replay the last x seconds button so I can watch the carnage, a quit to menu button and a rewind button for when a copper nails me into a wall one checkpoint from the finish.

Looks amazing, but a real shame it isn't 60fps.

I'm starting to actually get really bored and hacked off with Most Wanted.

The key problem is the replay, or lack of USEFUL replays, but forcing you to watch certain ones...ie you don't see ANY of the Takedowns of your enemies...you just see a banner on the screen (that actually obscures your view like a fucker) informing you that youve done one, but what you DO get are lengthy fucking replays of EVERY crash that YOU have....in slow motion...whilst 90% of your enemies stream past in the race whilst you watch the billionth replay of you crashing into a sticky-out bit of scenery.

The other problem I've got is the twitchiness of the steering that, unless I'm being a retard, you can't adjust?

Another problem is the longevity...you just find a new car...do the 5 races allocated to it...then move onto the next car and repeat.....

You aren't the first person I've seen to criticise the steering. Looking around the net it seems a fair few people are having issues with it and basically end up bouncing around the tracks from one barrier to the nest.

Got to say I wasn't that enamored with Hot Pursuit (man, the PS2 Hot Pursuit was fucking awesome) and for the life of me can't think why they dropped the engine that drove Burnout Paradise at 60fps.

I've seen interviews where they claim all sorts of nonsense for using the frostbite engine and having 30fps. But for my money, Paradise was a nicer, cleaner looking game - and most importantly - hit 60fps.

I went back to Midnight Club last night. I know I've said it before, but christ it is a technically impressive game. Love how it plays as well. One of my favourite racing games this gen, only bettered by PGR4 in my opinion.

I'm still playing AC3 as well, but I'm not enjoying looking for the eagle high point wotsits, and also collecting feathers. The frontier is a nice huge environment, but isn't anywhere near as compelling to explore as the tall buildings of the older AC games. I much prefer figuring out how to climb the taller structures. Loving the sea battles though I have to say. Bodes well for AC4.

There is a LOT going in in the NFS world, and it IS a looker (though utterly utterly bored with it being wet/rainy 99% of the time), but agree that the 60fps goodness of Paradise is way preferable....and you get to see the crashes of those people you brought down.

Started playing Tomb Raider (thank the gaming gods for quick price drops these days :) ). It really is a fantastic game. Super high production values and great gameplay so far.

It does feel more Uncharted than original Tomb Raider though - which is ironic when Uncharted can feel distinctly Tomb Raider at times. Looks absolutely lush so far as well and I'm enjoying the fairly linear structure. Although my OCD is making me explore every nook and cranny before moving on to each new section.

Oh and Camilla Luddington, who plays Lara is an absolute babe. Check her out on Google if you fancy seeing her naked ;) She was in Californication and stripped off near the end of the series.

I booted up Lego City Undercover for a quick go last night. It seems like the perfect compromise game for playing with Little Zai as it is basically Grand Theft Lego, but you play a policeman, rather than a crim. The city is open world and you can even run over pedestrians - instead of blood, they either go flat like in a cartoon or explode into lego bricks.

The script is great, with lots of laughs and nods to classic movies.

Not perfect (the car handling is quite ropey), but good fun.

Just finishing up Army Of Two: Devils Cartel, and enjoying it so far, got Sniper Ghost Warrior 2 to carry on...not bad, not as good as Sniper Elite V2.

Then have Halo 4 sitting in the background...can't wait!

Getting close to the end of Bioshock Infinite now. Fucking pissed that I missed an item though....I actually tried what is the correct solution, but for some reason the game wouldn't recognise it.....but anyway.

Firstly, I'm not sure I get the fawning that seems to be happening over this game. The main thing that fucks me off is the save system...it is absolutely fucking dire. If you are only going to provide an auto save, then for fucks sake, make sure that the point where it says it is saving, is the point it puts you back in the game. I've had to literally redo almost 15-20 minutes of gameplay because of how shit the save system is.

I know many think Elizabeth is some kind of A.I marvel....but why? I've played games before now with companions that are just as good. She is kind of interesting, but beyond that nothing groundbreaking at all.

I also don't think it looks as good as Bioshock. There was something about that Art Deco style that seemed so much more detailed than it does in this game. Not sure if the original used Unreal Engine, so maybe that was it? This just seems lacking.

Anyway, it's the only thing I've played much of recently and thought I'd at least type something here :)
