I've been playing Watchdogs as well. First off....it isn't as good as GTA V. Technically at least, its a step backwards really. Not far from your first safe house there is a bridge you can stand on and watch the traffic go by below on the highway. The cars appear and disappear about 100 yards down the road - its really jarring and immersion-killing. If 8 year old consoles can build worlds just as detailed and have traffic drive way off in the distance, then these new machines should manage it with ease.

As far as I can tell, GTA only has a lower resolution against it, in every other way its world is much more imaginative and believable.

Anyway, still having good fun with WD but I do wish it wouldn't do that Ubisoft thing of showing you every little collectable on the map. It spoils my main reason for playing these games....exploration. Or at least give is the option to turn off the bloody HUD.

I do like playing steathily. It's great finding a gang hideout or such and doing pretty much all of the mission via hacked cameras. Nice that you can mix it up with gunplay if you so desire. I actually quite like the driving mechanics as well. But considering the vehicles were done by Reflections who made the awesome Driver:SF they do lack some weight and inertia. You can nicely slide them around corners though. It's a shame most of the streets are so narrow and so stop you having some truly epic car chases.

Good fun all said though, and I'm tempted to get the season pass in order to get access to the separate new story they are working on.

Really fancy Wolfenstein as well, but that will have to wait until a price drop I'm afraid. Looks like bloody good fun though :)

Yeah Wolfie is fucking good fun. I. Hate. Nazis.

Am REALLY liking Watch Dogs the more I play of it. The online hacking is fucking brilliant fun. Knowing that you're being hacked makes you all paranoid and adds a real urgency to it. Finding the cunt and then shooting them in the face is immensely satisfying.

Equally, trailing people without their knowledge is eerily brilliant...if you act too much out of the ordinary, you know that they're gonna clock you...proper edge of your seat stuff.

Will try some online racing at some point soon.

Been playing a LOT of Dark Souls recently. And I can't really explain why other than sheer bloody stubbornness. It started off difficult as I knew it would. But I refused to not let it get the better of me and now I'm quite the badass in the game and can dispatch most enemies no problem. But I'm not really enjoying it. I just keep plugging away so that I can say I stuck it out and finished it.

Picked up a handful of games in the Xbox Live sale. I hadn't played Call of Juarez: gunslinger at all before, and its bloody good fun. I think it was something like £2.50 and I have had a blast with it. It's great to play and is actually pretty funny in places.

Also grabbed Crysis 3. I enjoyed Crysis 2 somewhat but had refused to buy Crysis 3 as I had heard it is only around 5 hours long. I can stomach that play length for the £5 I paid for it.

Decided to pick up the Witcher 2 as well. Not really got my teeth into it yet as I want to finish Dark Souls first. But it seems like it will be exactly my cup of tea.

Just wish the couple of games on sale on Xbox One didn't have such ridiculous prices even with the discounts. Could do with a few more games to play on that machine.

Oh picked up Grid Autosport as well and its really very nice indeed. A.I can be brutal but it makes for some really tense close races.

Almost forgot I picked up Saints Row 4 as well. You can see how they have gone for a Crackdown feel with the game and it is great fun traversing the city when you can leap over sky scrapers and glide around. Plus it always makes me smile playing the game with a naked chic and everyone talking to her in cutscenes like there is nothing wrong :)

Thought I might actually grow up at last when I hit 50 last week...but it didn't happen thank fuck :D

Been playing a variety of thinvs lately. Plumped for EA access on the Xbox One and found out just how disappointingly short Battlefield 4 is. Been enjoying Fifa 14 though, despite the fact that I can't stand football in real life.

One fun thing about Fifa, I started getting in game messages about my pitch side behaviour as a manager. Turns out Kinect hears you if you are swearing out loud and the game tells you off for it :)

Bought a rake of games on the 360 while they have had the summer sales on. Lost Planet 2 was bobbins, but I'm quite enjoying the third installment.

But most of my gaming time is split between Dark Souls 2 (still) and Dishonoured, which I completely dismissed when it launched, but which I'm finding is really rather bloody good!

How come Juz? This coming from someone who has never played Diablo.

I've been burning through New n Tasty and it's just as hard as I remember. Looks lovely though.

Well...you are literally just kinda mashing (or keeping a button pressed) over and over again, large groups of various baddies in not-that-attractive isometric areas, then picking up loot, then comparing EVERY bit of loot to what you have equipped, swapping it out and seeing the numbers go up, then walk 5 paces and do the same...over and over again.

I'm playing it for ages, but I feel as dirty as if I was playing Candy Crush/Farm Heroes.

Been having a blast so far on Destiny. I'm not much of a shooter guy, but being able to play co-op always piques my interest and this is fantastic.

I didn't play the beta past the first tutorial section so it's all new to me. And I am impressed with how smoothly they have it running at 1080p on the Xbox One (that should should keep quiet all the moaning wankers that suddenly seem to find anything less than 1080p to be an assault on their eyeballs)

Will have more to say once iwake up properly. Insomnia is a bitch :/

Shadow of Mordor...excellent. Forza Horizon 2....amazing.....Splinter Cell: Blacklist.....loving it. Driveclub.....oh dear. The game itself is not too bad really. But fuck me, two weeks on from launch and half of it still doesn't work properly.

Shadow of Mordor really IS a corker, isn't it?

I'm still waiting on the free Drive Club demo...the whole thing just looks like a fucking abortion from start to finish with all the delays, and now this shameless cash-grab of not releasing the demo so that people won't be able to try before buying.

Have returned to Watch Dogs after a few weeks away and am really enjoying it. Perspective is a great thing, and after all the fuss about what a *ahem* dog it looked on launch, I can honestly say that this actually IS a fine looking (not astounding) game, with the camera-hacking and environment-hacking mechanics adding MASSIVELY to the various methods of despatch.

Yeah Mordor is great fun. But I've just finished Condemned and have started Condemned 2. Monoliths games must click with me. You have reminded me that I must return to Watchdogs though as I have the dlc to play through.

Nah - I'm waiting on GTA V + Far Cry 4 on the PS4....may well dip for Dragon Age, but I got the second one for about 85p @ Morrisons and it was fucking dreadful.

I liked Kingoms of Amalur, so what do I know?
