That is if I can remove myself from Skylanders: Trap Team long enough for anyone else to use the Wii U!
Fixed that for you.
I am bereft of ribs!

Whoever invented Skylanders (or owns the IP) must be very rich indeed. It's clever stuff. And at £15 for a character, its a license to print money.

And for the record Juz, apart from gaming with my boy - I actually quite enjoy it! Its about my level and is very forgiving for my aging and failing reflexes.

The first few puzzles introduce the concept of rotating the level to uncover the doors and crystals. Once they've figured it out, there'll be no stopping them.

For me, I'm playing it after he's gone to bed trying to ace every level!
Good enough for me mate! I will check it out. I like the idea of Mario Bros as well, as my two (and me as well for that matter) can play at the same time - it saves a lot of arguments over who plays!

Whats great about Mario is - for the most part (early on especially) the kids can finish the levels easily enough. it's still hardcore for the purist/completists if you want to collect all the coins - but Ninty really seem to know how to provide a game that literally caters for every ability.

My biggest beef with Driveclub actually. I consider myself reasonably good at racing games, but some of its races are tough, and if you can't do them, you are basically locked out of the later parts of the game.

The mind boggles how they came up with such a system, especially when they made the races so fucking hard. You don't earn enough stars, then tough shit, no more game progression for you. Fucking shit system. They could learn a thing or two from Nintendo when it comes to being accessible, but throwing in tricky bits for experienced gamers that don't affect how you continue in the game.

Defo Zai, I don't think we've all played online since PGR2! I hate to think how long that has been. I'll be on tomorrow night and poss Friday. Next week could be hit and miss for me as we're picking up a puppy on Saturday!

The Evil Within? Great game marred by a deeply frustrating camera and screen clipped by the letter box view. Otherwise it's classic Resi style stuff.

Talking of which, I am very much looking forward to RE: Revelations soon, viable via 4 episodic downloads and RE1 HD - which is looking lovely. I'm sure the controls be showing their age though!

I'd honestly double dip on GTA V if the price drops on PS4. I feel like I'm missing out on so much not playing online at all. Thanks for the invite to your apartment, but my online character doesn't own a gimp suit yet so I'm not sure I'd fit in?

Don't worry mate, we've only been online a couple of times, you're not missing out much. This is the first time I've dabbled online for years, literally. Apart for a couple of brief sessions on destiny I can't remember the last time.

Gimp suits optional - mincing weak option enabled is mandatory.

Sure have matey - a fine pair of NHS salmon coloured things and a small as you like pair from Boots, grey coloured so then blend into my Schofield mop.

Only mild hearing loss, but I can't survive at work without them. And at home unless I want the telly as loud and my Nan(s) used to - then I use them there too. I should wear them all the time but Bluetooth headsets (and I'm in the car for ~3 hours a day), PS2.0 headsets etc make it a pain.

Had a pair since I was about 35.
