Cooking Mama DS (aka I am gay)

...

Addictive. And will turn you into a kitchen bound poof in no time.

If that makes you gay, then what am I, considering I'm playing Pokemon Diamond (on import no less) at the moment?

Well, since I enjoyed Pokemon Blue and Silver (very good games IMO), then doesn't that make me a bit of a poofter as well then? Haven't kept track since silver but I'm guessing its more of the same but more creatures and a few extra bits and bobs thrown in?

Oblivion (PS3)

Traded my 360 version in along with Dead Surp-Rising-ly crap for this.

It was a game I semi enjoyed on the 360 but just couldn't live with for long due to the stupendously frequent and often epic loading times.

Fortunately after having had a good dig at this all afternoon it is correct to say that Bethesda has improved the PS3 version in all the right areas.

Graphics wise it looks even more stunning, the colours look a tad lusher to me and the lighting and texturing looks a bit crisper in the dungeons and on the characters.

The biggest improvement is the loading though. When entering a town its still a bit of a wait but about 10 seconds max instead of nearly a bloody minute. And entering buildings and dungeons is very brief.

All of this makes it much more practical and enjoyable to play and gives you more of a drive to explore. Just a tad more polished version and recommended if you never bothered with it before or are an impatient twat like me.

Zelda: Twilight Princess

Been playing this since I got my Wii, just finished, mainly due to the fact it's such a huge game.

Top marks from me though, it really is the best game I can remember playing for a long, long time. To be fair this is the first Zelda game I've ever played. And once I got use to the quintessentially Japanese, mad a spoons shenanigans it was nothing short of gaming heaven. The wiimote and nun chuck actually felt useful rather than the gimmicky application to show them off in Wii Play and Sports. The world you traverse is brilliantly realised with lots to do, but as with previous Zelda games I guess, it's the dungeons where it comes alive.

After racking up nearly 60 hours, I can honestly say I'm gutted I completed it. Not sure what to play now, I'm going to miss it!

And if I may say so, what a charming smashing blouse you've got on

I've got Zelda too, but have yet to start it. I never finished the Wind Waker either, despite enjoying it a lot. Damn my short attention span!

Is there anyone that did not give up with WW around the time you were instructed to aimlessly roam the sea in search of - as far as I can remember - 10 or so small islands containing animals which looked similar to pigs. Well, whatever it was, having spent some time finding two of these islands I realised that I had very little interest in finding the remainder & thus it has been shelved ever since.

Ratchet and Clank: Size Matters

Totally rocking my socks off on PSP. Great platforming and blasting with gorgeous graphics and inventive mini-games. The difficulty curve is pitch perfect. Get stuck, have a half hour break to think about it, go back and progress. Why do so many developers get this wrong?

Can't wait for the PS3 version!

I did the same until my friend gave me his guide book so I was determined to finish the thing.

It's a shame really because other then that section of the game and a couple of other niggles it really is a decent Zelda better then the new one IMO, although I realise I'm probably in the minority :)

Take a look at this pretty lengthy and in depth latest PS3 demonstration-

Looks seriously beautiful and that groove-a-tron weapon looks hilarious.

Retaining my grasp on AAA new releases....

Playing Shadow of the Collosus.

All good. Lovely big bad boss battles.

I picked up a 2nd hand copy that is scratched to shit though.

So streaming data off the DVD is painful at times.

Oddly though the code copes with it admirably. Galloping across the landscape the horse suddenly stops mid stride, but you can still circle the camera around a static horse with mare blowing wildly in the breeze.

Finally the data arrives and we're off again...
Insert Coin.
