My god, something that encourages kids to touch a TV ?!?!?!?

Nah, if anything it's the other way about; if they get too close to the TV they won't interact with it at all, or be able to see anything as they'll be blocking the camera.
Thats not too bad though, kids are banned from both the front room (where we have the new TV) and my cinema room on their visits to the house, at least though another reason for me not to bother with having em

LoL @ Dunk, - M8 I sometimes wonder how you'd have handled all the sticky finger marks on TVs and scribbles and spills on various written items, documents surfaces and gadgets that I've had to put up with over the years. Of course, truth is that most of them were actually down to me and I only blamed them on the kids :$

No but you've brought a whole new meaning to the expression "component socket"! ;)

Really? I finger, fondle and sniff all new additions, I love that smell. I wipe them down regularly with a soft cloth too, to keep them looking their best.

Ummm.. Now, what were we talking about?

DJ Hero - PS3

I had a pile of unplayed games lying around so decided to trade them in to take a punt on this (I'll save my rant on the difference between trade-in prices from Game and HMV for the other forum).

Anyone into dance, electronic or hip-hop will absolutely love this. The set list is amazing with many mixes commissioned specifically for the game.

I've only put in a couple of hours, so enough time to play through the tutorials and a few sets on easy setting but it's bloody challenging so far. It requires great co-ordination (more so than guitar hero IMO) and a firm understanding of where all the buttons and switches are without having to look at them.

The peripheral itself is smaller than I expected but solid enough.

I really need to finish my play through of PES 2010 first, but I'm itching to get back to this later this week.

I've been playing Forza 3 to death...but not exclusively the racing bit of it - more the playing of the Auction House to make oodles of cash, and the taking of photos that make me go "Ooooh."

I would post a pic, but I don't have any hosting anymore - anywhere you can just upload summink super quick with no registering?

Or....you could just check out my piccies on my Forza 3 storefront.

Yeah though Gay Tony has taken most of my time over the last few days I've been playing it more than I thought I would too, but the racing is a bit cack compared to NFS and DiRT 2 - even GRID is more engaging (although infuriating), so I've found myself painting cars and selling them, but as an overall package it's undeniably impressive and I can see this game lasting some people for years, just like Forza 2 has.

P.S. I got a guy to do a Gamecell logo if any of you are into doing custom sponsor-filled race car paintjobs and feel like advertising the old place.

hmm tempted by this as the track listing is full of tracks I love.

However toying with the idea of this too M-Audio Xponent

For the ultimate in big boys toys, a fully digital set of mixing decks :)

That looks great, but how much room does it take up?

After the birth of our second, I had to sell my 1210's to make way for the nursery. I do miss the mixing, but I've absolutely no room for a full-size set of decks.

It's nothing like real mixing, but at least DJ Hero is compact enougn for me to shove it in a drawer after use.

Doesn't look too big. There are plenty of videos on you tube about it.

I did consider Pioneer cdj's before but they are way out of my league for a bit of occasional mixing.

And that's the same spot where I was sitting at the 2009 British GP :D

Just go to ImageShack you don't have to register if you don't want to.
