Just Completed this, and I've got to say it has got to be the closest thing to controlling a Movie that I have ever played, not because of the graphics, although they are rather nice but the way it actually played, Warner Bros had some part to play in making the game and I assuming they were at the heart of making it feel the way it did.

It reminded me of the film Se7en (think this was because the fella reminded me of kevin spacey.... strange  ) and also The Ring, with the li'l girl which made me nearly fill my underpants ona few occasions. It had a spooky feel like Silent Hill 1 and also Max Payne, both Bullet Time available to make those head shots and also the dream sequences.

Dont let me put you off though, the dream sequences were no were near as annoying as the ones in max payne, they were more of a story-telling part in this.
Also, the Physics of the bodys in this are great, all round a decent game... it DID leave me a bit confused at the end though...

Definately worth a look for PC gamers out there.... my comp did struggle a li'l bit

It's not a bad piece of work, FEAR, as I said in the test review I sent in to be recruited, wahey! Its extremely boring locations (water plant, city, high-tech tower, yawn-o-rama) dented its appeal for me, as well as things like the frustrating turrets and so on. I enjoyed it for a quick blast, but alas, like everything else, it really doesn't compare to HL2.

That said, tearing clones completely in half with the shotgun takes quite some time to get old...

This month's Official Xbox 360 mag has a playable demo of the 360 version. I'll report back when I've had a go on it.

Yeah I played the 360 demo this weekend (I've not played the PC version)

First impressions weren't that great but I think that was mainly due to the bland environment you're placed in. Not exactly an original location plus it looks a little dull.

However after playing through to the end of the demo, messing around with the slow-mo mechanics and watching the brief snippets of the freaky little girl I'm expecting good things.

Not quite Half-Life 2 but a decent FPS hopefully, especially if it manages to gain the same praise as the PC version.

Demo on XBL marketplace.

D/l'd it last night - maybe we're too spoilt these days, but I was expecting to be blown away by graphical loveliness, and instead was presented by what looked like a coupla year old PC game running at medium settings.

Other than that, it was a bit of Max Payne, merged with a bit of Doom and a soupcon of HL2....very "meh" - could be a corker, but no way I'll be buying.
