Im sure it will pass but ....

I had some what of a magpie reputation when it came to games, purchased them, loved them for few hours, hyped up there brilliance and then stopped when I got a new one a week later

However that seems to have stopped since the 360

Since end of last year I have probably completed more games than in all the years prior. Not just on the 360 either - the PS2 has had a plug put back on it and have been enjoying Godfather and Dragon Quest.

Got 3 PS2 titles also on order

On top of that I have just gotten myself a dreamcast off ebay with bundle of games. I had one when they cam out but doubt I put more than 2 hours into any of the games.

So it looks like I am converted - halfway through Dead Rising play 1 and Saints ROw stands around 60% complete

Think ill go get lego star wars

Good effort.

I have this nagging feeling i'm not getting my monies worth from every game I fail to complete. Sort of haunts me... Only 100 hours into Oblivion and still not finished the main Quest, might have got my monies worth from it already though.

If you click my Xfire profile below you can see the rest of the games i've had a flickering relationship with...

What other past-time can you get for £0.40 per hour? I'm about 360 hours into FFXI - for £29.99 from Play.Com - £0.20 per hour *including* the £8.99 per month fee. :)

Personally, I've been playing a lot of C&C Generals: Zero Hour lately, online and off. It's a surprisingly deep, yet no-nonsense modern RTS. Still playing some Source, though. What I absolutely can't wait for is the triple dose of Valve perfection around Christmas: HL2: Episode Two, Portal and Team Fortess II for the cost of a normal game.

That will be stunning.

You still involved with the PCGFC?

Zero Hour? Deep? I've seen muddy puddles with more depth, and better unit and skirmish AI for that matter! :P

I am glad I finally found a 360 game I not only like, and am happy with, but that I absolutely love to bits. Hurrah for Capcom once again :) So now there are 3 reasons to own a 360; Ridge Racer 6, Dead Rising and Condemned. And in January we have Lost Planet which should be fooking mint.

I think once I am pretty much done with Dead Rising I'll be saving myself for playing through Links new adventure - I really can't wait for that. What a way to end 2006 for gaming huh?

Oi! Mush!

The depth comes from unit combinations, the ever-excellent General's powers system, and things like troop drops, stealth bases, demo traps, etc. And Zero Hour is fast-paced, streamlined RTS, with none of the dreary bloatedness of other combat-centric competitors. It's a pity C&C3 is bound to throw away most of its achievements just because people want mammoth tanks back, I mean how pathetic.

Oh well, fan power eh?

And I'm still quite heavily involved with PCGFC until someone decides they're going to bite the bullet and take over the leadership from me.
