Just had a fuckin session on Scarface: The World is Yours and I'm fuckin loving it. If the bug-ridden Saints fuckin Row and Thunderbirds Holiday '06 (Just Cause) weren't GTA-ey enough for you then this will be just the fuckin thing. The game begins where the movie ended, you get to blow the invading hoods (fucks) away with your "leedle fren" and following as it does a montage from the movie it sucks you right in. The combat is easily the best in a game of this fuckin type so far, with intelligent lock on and a cool "Balls" (no, really) meter that fills up as you taunt and shoot enemies (the fucks) - when full you can go into "blind rage" mode, shoot everything in first person and never fuckin miss or take damage - cool as hell (fuck).

There are some other cool ideas too, like money laundering to make the cash you "earn" clean, but I've only scratched the fuckin surface so far.

The sound track that will be so familar to GTA fans only help make this feel more like GTA-Montana. Only the fact that there's no fuckin 360 version can harm this, but maybe that ain't such a fuckin a bad thing after all.

Oh, and there's a LOT of bad language in it too, and the Pacino-soundalike is excellent, although not as good as me, you fuckin whores!

Was just going to post exactly the same kinda thing Bon.

Brilliant! The soundalike is top notch and the foul language and excess violence are just what this game needed.

I've been playing the PS2 version and the graphics are a bit iffy and the car handling is way off but damn when it's this much fun who cares?

thought i'd bump this since it deserves a bit more attention that it's being given!

only ben playing it a little while but i've got to agree with bon and peds-it's so much fun! it might end up feeling like a gimmick after a while but i can't see it grating anytime soon, and there's nothing better than going on a killing spree with "superfreak" in the background!

i like how the lock-on (unlike JC) doesn't make it easy to blow everyone away without any effort-the subtle aiming within the lock is a good move; it's always good to see what part of the body i've hit when i'm shooting gangsters too!

Yeah I felt I needed something new so it was a toss between Xbox Scarface and 360 Test Drive - Scarface won and I'm glad, it's barely any better looking than the PS2 game but still great fun, in a basic, incredibly violent sort of way. It really does have hidden depths though, and I suspect even Rockstar will be playing it thoroughly to see if they can borrow any gameplay ideas and improve on them - the aiming/taunting enemies/balls meter really do help the combat along.
