This was going to be a post about just how good God of War is and how I have played it for around 6 hours solid in last 2 days However its just got to have one of those "annoying" bits in it which ruins an otherwise brilliant game Usually they are stealth bits but here its an annoying underwater section with dodgy controls which are slow to react FFS its a killing game - for 5 hours its been non stop - chaining combos together and making impressive kills (got 180 as top combo) but then it just has to go and do this WHY |

Have you done the last level yet? Even worse then that bit mate. Frustrating beyond belief. Anyway, back on topic I personally find it annoying when otherwise decent point and click games like Broken Sword add unnecessary 'action' bits where there's stealth involved or some form of mini-game. These are generally poor and feel out of place. |

Nah Given up after those moving underwater walls loved every minute up til then but just seems to have added the swimming for no other reason than to "extend" the game |

I know what you mean Dunc. I was happily playing GTA:SA and really loving it, until I got to the Airfield section. For the life of me I could do the Flying Lessons, no matter how hard and how many times I tried, I could not even do the first "takeoff, fly through rings, land" and I could not carry on till these were completed. I gave up in the end and never did get to see the rest of the game. |

Here's a few I can think of: Dead Rising - Runied the moment Capcom decided to add the boss fights and ridiculous deadline concept. The demo was IMO 100% more enjoyable because of its sandbox nature. Kameo - Runied by not having enough free-roaming levels where you get to trample orcs by horse. MGS2 - Ruined by giving the best part of the game away as a free demo. The full game couldn't improve on it. Zedla OOT - The water temple. |
