Not a great deal at moment I consider as "anticipated" - although few titles I will no doubt pick up after word of mouth spreads

By biggest anticipation for 2007 is to play a few more of the games I have stacked up and go back to a few I forgot about and found during the move

What I am looking forward to though firslt is Mass Effect which I hope to be more KoTOR rather than KoTORII - have that on order

Also the above mentioned BioShock big fan of System Shock 2 (its one of games I hope to try and go back to this year) so will give this a go

FFXIII is one game that I did not think I would look forward to - but now being 40+ hours into 12 in space of 7 days or so then this will be a must buy - think this though will be another 12 months at least

MGS enjoyed Snake Eater and this seems to be a title that will really show just what the PS3 may be capable of - Snake Eater with graphis like MotorStorm - sounds good

GRAW2 if (and its a BIG if) they sort out what made be give up on the 1st then ill get this. Need to have better use of your squad - better ways of using them and setting up ambushes - for most part of 1 it was if you where 1 bloke with four guns - the squad made precious difference. Would like to see some sort of direct control over each member (bit like the old Conflict games) and allow for more strategy.

It also happens to be the first BIG title available around same time across the PS3 and 360. For that reason its one I will be watching closley. Online play does not really interest me (never find the time and get annoyed with people moaning you have shot them - err aint that the point) so will be watching out for which is the best looking and most complete single player game.

Assassins Creed no longer a PS3 exclusive but looks mint. Lets just hope som eof the "spoilers" that have been revealed are either (a) wrong or (B) work

Alone in the Dark at least many of us here are old enough and wise enough to know that RE did not start the survival horror genre - they just named it. This too looks nice

Did you check out the gameplay vid? Looks VERY nice. Not sure if it's groundbreaking, but it certainly looks creepy and individually styled enough to make it a goer.

The bit at the end of the video with the death of the 'Big Daddy' and then the player walking towards the girl only to see her cower in a corner looked really impressive.

AI is obviously a big thing in Bioshock. Not sure the game is my thing but we'll see.

Yes it did - but is it scripted, or is it "live" though?

Thing is, that video pretty much made it look like AN Other FPS, just set in a weird scenario.

The Graphics Whore(tm) in me may make it an essential purchase though.

Wow, scroll down to the movie and have a gleg at the graphics in motion on this co-operative platformer developed for the PS3 network service.

Called LittleBigPlanet, if stuff like this and Warhawk is what we can expect for download then a Kleenex dispensing add on will be needed for the PS3.

Some pretty cool gameplay footage of Mercenaries II. I am actually looking forward to this more than GTA IV.

It looks like they are treading a very similar path to the first one but with next gen trappings and thats no bad thing.

It looks like the buildings are fully destructible again which is ace. Worth watching through for when he nabs a tank. It looks pretty smart, considering its a complete sandbox world with plenty of destruction physics. Hopefully this will be what Just Cause should have been.

A new Lair (PS3) preview at IGN and three lovely movies which are well worth checking out. Extremely impressive scale and amount of shit going on.

Apparently its still only alpha build but they seem pretty certain this will be polished up rapidly and out by July. Kind of fancy being a Nazgul type rider, a bit different anyway.

No idea if this is a 2007 title but I'm looking forward to Killzone 2.

Very little information on this, but the videos used to demonstrate the power of PS3 blew my socks off at the time.

It looked awesome but apparently its a target render (although I have heard from some sources recently that it actually was genuine in game footage).

Having said that Motorstorm is pretty close graphically to the renders from a year ago and Killzone has got a heck of a budget thrown behind it so it may well reach that sort of level. Its pencilled in for this year but so far its shrouded in secrecy.

Hope its good cos I really liked the bleakness and the Hellghast troops of the original and maybe the PS3 can do it true justice.

Original video from E3 2005 was a render. They recently showed a build of it to a closed audience at GDC, to demo the PS3 development resources. People that saw it said that it looked pretty average, but obviously it's a way from being finished.

2008 release methinks.

Folklore (PS3)

An RPG that looks and plays different to most I've seen. You collect the souls of mythical creatures by fishing them out with the sixaxis and then use them against other monsters in combat.

Fabulously pretty, bit like a mega detailed Kameo. Already out in Japan.
