Should be some downloadable media on the PSN network shortly if you have got a free fortnight.

LMAO - But seriously folks: why is it that XBLive is fuckin loaded with E3 vids and demos already....check on Ye Olde PS3 Storre and.....fuckin zilch.

It's been said before but it's worth repeating: you can see who the (predominantly)software-driven company is in the battle of the next-gens.

Blimey I thought the Killzone trailer looked UBER impressive myself. If that is in game footage then thats gotta be one of the most advanced games around, especially when you consider the environments are supposed to be destructible! Some fucking superb lighting and environmental effects too.

As someone who wasn't impressed at all by GOW's gameplay and lmited scale this really hasn't got a lot to beat on that score.

I shall observe it in more minute detail once I download it on a non-crap work PC, just in case I have been put off by shitty PC syndrome.

I have now observed the aforementioned vid in Decent-PC-At-Home-O-Vision® and I'm still not that impressed. Still think CoD4 looks spiffier. Just a random taste thing, or am I missing summink?

Yeah, Sony.

Never mind demos, they have spaffed all over Microsoft with their software at E3 in my opinion. Im actually very disappointed with the 360's showing.

With the exception of Little Big Planet

What is coming out that is AAA quality PS3 exclusive ?

Its not meant to eb a 360 fan boy question - its just one of genuine interest ?

Also as Juz says - why when Xbox Live can be updated hourly with new content do PS3 owners seem to get there updates less regualr than postal strikes

Heavenly Sword.

Lair

Little Big Planet

Drakes Fortune

Killzone 2

Metal Gear Solid 4

Final Fantasy XIII

Ratchet and Clank: Tools of Destruction

Haze (timed exclusive, still could be total yet as its designed with the PS3 in mind)

Wardevil Enigma

Warhawk (if you like your multiplayer)

8 Days

Gran Turismo 5

The Getaway Next Gen

God of War 3

White Knight Story

Is that enough for you?

They have got as much chance of being 'AAA' as any future 360 game previewed that you might personally fancy.

They are as well known and anticipated to the PS3 owner as Mass Effect, Blue Dragon and Bioshock are to the 360 user.

Go on any PS3 forum and HUNDREDS of users post media excitedly about most of these listed games daily. The 360 having more future exclusives is an utter myth perpetrated by internet fanboys.

I don't think I've ever seen a nearly-completed game so completely and thoroughly overhauled and reformed in all my years of nerding.

They had a bit about iit on Gamer TV, and they've even ditched hours of expensive voice-talent work from....someone vaguely famous.

Kane and Lynch is also looking very interesting and one I am looking forward to.
Not only good graphics, but also nice meaty sounding weapons and interesting gameplay.

Gameplay montage

Developer interview

On a side note, Kane and Lynch is another new game that shows cover being shot away a'la The Matrix lobby scene. While it is nice to have a bit more realism, I predict it could become the next big games cliche. Like lens flare and stealth sections before it, it will start appearing in totally un-needed games.

I know the developers have readily stated 'Heat' as one of their main influences but geeze that does look pretty much just like the bank shoot out in the Michael Mann film.

As you say the weapons sound loud and devestating which is one thing that bugs me in lesser games. Black was the last game IMO to really get the guns sounding just as you want them to.

Can't wait for this one :)

Did you never play Crackdown?

The weapon sounds (at least through my Kef's) sounded fuckin astonishing, with just the right amount of reverb to make you feel like you were firing a gun in a city....as you do.

Nah. I was one of the many who didn't 'get' Crackdown.

Not my cuppa tea I'm afraid.
