So Dunk, what do you want on that Bentley? Is a Megaman design enough, or do you want an 'original' Jocky?

Ill give you free reign mate

Think you know me well enough by now to know what I like :)

Oh and Juz - glad you like

I know this is the Forza 2 thread, but I'm kinda wondering if I shoulda saved my dosh for Flatout: UC - it's getting some glowing reviews over on the AV Forums.

Different beasts though surely? Having said that I loved Flatout 2 on the Xbox. And I can't wait to pick it up on the 360.

The online races for once won't piss me off, as the objective is to smash and plough through everything and everyone :)

I get sick of trying to race cleanly in stuff like Gotham. Will be a pleasure to ram some spotty teenage yanks off the road.

Juz it's easy, buy both ;) Honestly though, if I was going to buy just one game tomorrow and didn't have Forza already, I'd buy Flatout. But it will definitely lack longevity.

Nah - One new game is enough TBH - I'll see how it goes with Forza, and if I get bored I'll chop it in for Flatout.

Thinking of trying to convince my housemate to split the cost of this with me as I'm both bored and poor at the moment...

Anywhere doing it cheaper than Play.com's £29.99?

Trade in Crackdown (or a bunch of other games) at Blockbuster and it's £10.

Forza is getting rather dull at the moment, i feel asleep during a race the other day and it was only 6pm. :ph43r:

I'm feeling that way too - plugging through races, but to be honest when I win I find it too easy and when I don't I get frustrated.

Hmmm. Took me a long time to get round to playing this and I didn't miss much did I? I think the handling is ok but the general look of the game is just plain boring, and racing online or off is a real yawn. DiRT is a way better driving experience all ways up, but sadly lacking in any proper online modes, no idea what Codies were thinking...

I find DiRT to be a bit odd handling-wise. The cars don't seem to have the weight to them like McRaes of old. It's too easy to be going wildly off line, but just hit the brakes which are like no brakes I have ever experienced before in a rally game. They can stop you on a sixpence.

I'm enjoying DiRT, but I'm a car sim whore deep down.

Yeah they are too effective on all surfaces, unless of course you're hurtling through the air out of control like I usually am, thanks to my misplaced faith in the suicidal co-driver. Forza's braking is stupid too, even with ABS on it's way too easy to lock the brakes, making outbraking someone online really difficult - which is probably why people just bash you out the way on every corner rather then trying to "drive clean" like they did in the good old and much more controllable PGR3 and Forza 1 racing days.
