I think it worked quite well in mine and dunk's case, because we both knew we'd be through our respective games fairly quickly.

Definitely worth making the offer though

The only issue is diminishing trade-in prices if you're lending stuff out...but there again I always forget to trade stuff in anyway.

Why not just do it like Jocy and I have

If there is a game that you want and someone else has then swap - just the cost of postage thats all

Yeah - But I've only got a few games - sold the rest to dudes at work so doubt there's anything I've got that anyone else won't already have.

Go take a look around the AVForums trade posts

If you are new just say ill vouch for you as well

You may find someone willing to do a swap for you - you may have to include a five pound note in the case or something but as Jocky says its worth asking

lol - I'm too tired to do all that!

I'll just wait a few years and see if Morrisons do it for cheap.

I'll loan you The Darkness if you want? I dont trade games, generally, and as long as its not bitten by any spawnlings / used as a coaster etc lend out stuff to friends and workmates all the time.

Another few hours and I'm getting into it a lot more, although they're obviously forcing you to use the Darkness powers - you can have a guy shoot at you for 5 minutes, but when you finally kill him his gun has about 2 bullets left in it.

I might well take you up on that, homeboy.

Just trying to remember what I've got that you might wanna borrow in return.

That's weird - according to the forum screen, Juz made a post in this thread last night, but I can't see it!

Nah, I voted in the poll and it bumped it.

Finished the game last night. Found it very hit and miss, but I thought the game swung between fabulous and awful. The little loading cutscenes were an excellent touch, the enormous amount of bugs and glitches were not. Some of the textures and graphical effects were awesome (as was the detail around the city), but then stuff like Jackie's hair and face looked not so great. I could go on...

Anyway, particularly enjoyed Jackie's characterisation, and really felt for him at times despite being a scumbag criminal.

Solid and good, but not outstanding, I gave it an 8.

This has been a very stop/start affair for me which is never a particularly good sign. First person shooters have to be addictive and this really isn't in any way, which is unfortunate because there was a lot of potential here and some good production values.

I loved the opening sequence, the graphical style and the general story but its just a bit too pedestrian to really enjoy. I dunno why but I keep thinking of an old, dark lit shooter in Deus Ex which to this day gives you more to do and is more atmospheric than this.

When you cannot provide fast and furious gunplay or excitment like a Halo or Resistance then you need to deliver complexity and clever gameplay and this doesn't really do either. The darkness powers didn't really make up for it enough in my opinion. Still, it looks crisp and plays steady enough I suppose if you want to while away a few hours.

At the end of the day there are a plethura of mediocre shooters on the 360 and this is another. I reckon Bioshock will provide the atmospheric, involving experience that this was aspiring towards.

7/10
