I think I pretty well wrote the review for just about every game that comes out these days. This whole release it now, maybe fix it later attitude every developer has now is disgusting. Regardless, I finally broke down and got TDU2. The first thing you notice is the god awful Al Qaeda sponsored storyline. Now TDU has always had a bit of a tongue in cheek take on it's storyline. In the first game you got to go on drug running and prostitute delivery missions. Didn't call them by name, but when you pull up and some shady dude comes out of the bushes with "packages" you have to deliver without attracting the attention of law enforcement you know what's up. Then there were all these "models" dotted around the island you had to pick up and take places that looked, dressed and talked suspiciously like hookers. But this one is even funnier, It's like they watched 5 minutes of Jersey Shore and decided to base every character on those clowns. Driving around seems pretty fun. Better than the fist one IMO. Unlike the mess that is GT5, TDU actually has a proper leaderboard system so competing with friends is fun. Haven't gotten into much of the customization stuff yet. Good that you can add your own style to the cars now. Haven't downloaded the Casino yet. That could be pretty cool if it works well as a place just to hang out with friends. |

Quite fancy a dabble with TDU2, but no fucking way they are getting my money until they fix all its problems. Fell for that shit with F1 2010 and am not getting bitten again. Worst thing putting me off is the save game corruption that randomly happens. There is no way that shit didn't show up during testing of the game. Still by the time the patch is out, hopefully the game will have tumbled in price ![]() edit: just testing my new sig. So long mygamercard

Glad you reminded me of that, I must make a backup. If lost all my progress I certainly wouldn't be playing it all through again, too... many... time trials. Yeah it did a fine job, and I won't go into a rant about why it is no more. That new one looks cool though, hopefully it'll last more than 5 minutes. |
Subtitles are available on Teletext page 888![]() You forget a thousand things every day pal. Make sure this is one of 'em. | |
